Holy shit we've got a great Christmas present and now a wonderful surprise for new years eve!
Great tune, glad Noel released it, sounds beautiful

I was hoping for this but thought we were getting nothing this year, what a lovely surprise (and tune as well)

A nice present but average tune. Can see why he put this particular one out.

Does this make up for RSD Lennon? 😂 So this was the song in the CS documentary. Gives us a good taste of what to expect from the mooted acoustic album. Happy new year y’all 💥 RSD release will prob be this track and Love Will Tear Us Apart. I meant does the flurry of releases this week make up for the lack of RSD / Magic Secrets recently? 2024 is shaping up to be a good year for Gallagher fans: - Liam & Squire album - Definitely Maybe reissue and tour - Noel RSD. Could be anything at this point: these demos, a covers EP, acoustic Oasis covers, the unreleased Pet Shop Boys remixes!? Possibly an Oasis one related to DM too. - Maybe even a Noel album later in the year if it is demoed to this quality already… (I can dream 😂)

"In a little while... We'll be free......"
So sad, but in expressing hope for the future, it's perfectly Noel.
2023 might have been bad personally, but 2024 is going to make a better day (year).
I hope it is for Noel and everyone else all around the world, cheers.

It's alright. A nice little tune. Nothing groundbreaking but a nice surprise indeed! High res artwork for the completists:

It's a shame it doesn't break in to something more after he sings "start a new", feels like its building then just stops.
Nice little tune though.

Hmmmm, didn’t make it onto the album for a reason. Doesn’t go anywhere and a bit Noel G paint by numbers. Nice to hear it though

A nice present but average tune. Can see why he put this particular one out. Have seen people say it's 'only b-side material' - like yes, it's just a demo he's thrown out without any promo, so unsure what people are expecting. It could probably be absolutely huge with full blown production but for what it is it works. Really nice melody, some really nice lyrics, but clearly a demo/bonus track. Bit Sail On-y merged with Trying To Find A World That's Been And Gone.

Nice verses, nice bridge… then start again.

Hmmmm, didn’t make it onto the album for a reason. I got the feeling this was writen after Council Skies was finished. Really enjoying this one. For me it doesn't need to go bigger, I like it as it is.

I find some Neil Young vibes especially in the chorus

On Apple Music in the credits section it lists Callum Marinho as playing the piano and tuba. I am I missing something? I’m not hearing a tuba

I personally want 2 RSD releases. The first being Noel related and the second for Oasis. Oasis should be taking advantage of the day like Pearl Jam does. I’d like to see Stop The Clocks or Familiar to Millions get issued on those days.

It’s kinda bland for me What happened to NG 😟 I like it but know what you mean. Might be time to drop the expectations. Divorce and the 2 or so years of lead up to it hit him hard and I reckon it knocked the wind out of his creative sails. He's still doing ok creatively just he's coming down from a great height, was always gonna be a shock for us fans with high expectations of him. I'm adjusting my levels now. I also think he still never really got over the negative reception from 3rd album, plus Liam's huge success, no matter how much he tries to make out he doesn't care, he does. He's in an odd place now poor fella.

And yeah, he can be seen playing a bit of it in Anais' 'Making of Council Skies' documentary that came with the digital Serenade edition of the album. So it's actually an outtake. Where are the missing 2 parts of the doc btw?
