Hello everyone, I've noticed tonight that the keyboard "cover" was used no matter witch piano men with Oasis (sorry if it s not the right term, i'm not expert) . Noticed that seing Gem playing on it at the royal albert hall in 2010. I ve always thought since then that it was Mike Rowe's Keyboard. Do you know where I can find the history of that "keyboard cover" please ? Thanks ! Picture

I think it is a custom build keyboard cabinet. There is shelf space for two keyboards, they would change keyboards to suit the sound they wanted or as better ones became available.
I would imagine they would have one keyboard for a Hammond organ style sound and another for mellotron or whurlitzer. During the SOTSOG, black Crowes and HC tours there was a Novation Bass Station on top of the cabinet for synth sounds during WFL and Columbia.
I’ve never found out who built it or who painted it. It belonged to the band rather than any keyboard player, however, I’d imagine they spoke to original keyboard player Mike Rowe about what they wanted and what would be suitable for him.
On the BHN tour they had two keyboard players, Mike Rowe and Paul Stacy playing behind a pretend bar. The band went back to basics after that and didn’t want an elaborate stage set again which would explain why they bought the cabinet and painted it.
In late 1999 the band play a few short gigs in the USA with Mike Rowe on keyboards. It looks like he was just playing a keyboard on a metal stand with a black sheet over it.
The first time it was used live was on the later with Jools Holland special filmed in early February 2000, but not broadcast until 1st April. On 23rd or 24th February the band played the French TV show Nulle Part Ailleurs and the cabinet can be seen behind Noel.
It was then used on the SOTSOG tour with Mike Rowe initially and then Zeb Jameson. It was used for every tour since until 2009, mainly by Jay Darlington. After that Noel kept it for use in his band by Mike Rowe.
It appears that both Jessica Greenfield and Shannon Harris have the same keyboard cabinet design on stage with the high flying birds but it is just plain white. Mike Rowe also has a second plain white cabinet too.
On tour oasis also had a white upright piano with the big brother logo on the back.

Thank you really much for this complete answer , for sharing your knowledge. Maybe one day I ll sent the question to Matt Morgan to Noel, to see if he got some anecdote about it.

Just to add The keyboard cabinet was used on the TOTP performance of Carnation with Liam and Steve Craddock. Noel can be seen playing keyboards. It was filmed at the Dome II in Birmingham, TOTP was doing a roadshow around the country at the time. Believed to be on or around 8th October 1999. The release date for Carnation was 11th Oct 1999
It is also present on the TOTP performance of Go Let It Out on 11th February 2000

I don't think any other band has had Gandalf as their keyboard player.

Just to add.
I think there are a couple of close up photos of the pattern on the keyboard cabinet on the inside artwork booklet for the SOTSOG album.

I think he said it a while ago in an ineterview Noel borrowed a whulitzer piano from Weller for the acoustic performances of Sunday morning call they did back in late 1999 and early 2000. You can see Mike Rowe playing it below:

I’d imagine they got the same person who painted the golf bugie to paint the cabinet.

The left peppers logo shown at 11 seconds in the video looks like it was the inspiration for the bass drum skin used in the Lyla video shown in the video below at 17:50
