Some of the comments on here... I mean seriously. If I read that sort of thing written about me by complete strangers I'd feel pretty bad. I've never met James but he seems like he would be cool to hang out with over a few pints and talk about music with.
We can agree or disagree with someone's view of the world or a band but it's not a reason to start insulting them or trying to dissect their personality. James strikes me as just a fan like the rest of us but one who is actually bothering to turn his love for Oasis into something the rest of us can enjoy, learn from and be entertained by in equal measure. I might not agree with all of his theories but he still makes the most consistenlty good content that I have found on YouTube about Oasis, especially the deep dives into particular periods or incidents in the band's history.

We all agree he goes too far with the conspiracy videos, but the rest of the chanel is enjoyable, very entertaining and free. He interviewed Guigsy's sister in one of his latest videos, that's as close as we're going to get to a Guigsy interview. No one else is doing that content un YouTube. It's okay not to like him but some of the comments here are shocking. |

He’s harmless right? Right? Right?!?!? Maybe Although he did get ultra defensive about Tom Meighan knocking his missus about and even created a full video defending him and that it was blown out of proportion. I found that really weird. The reason I found it a bit odd is because Tom himself didn’t even defend himself to that level. He admitted he fucked up and trying to turn his life around, which Is all you can ask from anyone in that situation really. But James decided to make a video about the media being to blame and they’re vilifying Tom unfairly and it wasn’t that bad etc. I don’t know, I just thought it was a bit fucking weird. I can only assume that it’s because Tom gives him the time of day and that somehow gives credibility to his channel because Tom is a bit famous and YouTube people live and die by their views. I’m not one for cancelling people or anything, so I’m not saying Tom doesn’t deserve a chance to live a normal life without being crucified at every moment, but at the same time I don’t think you need to make a fanboy video trying to justify what he did either and making out it’s not that bad. I just find him a bit awkward and I thought the defending Tom Meighan video was a bit weird in where he was pointing the blame. Aside from that, he puts out pretty decent content, no matter how out there some of his theories seem and I think that’s a good thing. we’ve probably heard every other boring take on the history of Oasis. |

I doubt if James is that big a snowflake he cares that much about anything said here-he gets lots of postive feedback on his comments section.
I had no problem with the Tom Meighan interview.Theres no evidence that Tom is a habitual wife beating monster as some on here have painted him.Maybe they have information none of the rest of us have but the video makes it clear the incident was somewhat misrepresented-as his wife was only too happy to explain.If I believed this was a pattern of behaviour from him I certainly wouldnt be offering these sentiments.
And as much as some dont like his music a normal punter gettin a song in the i-tunes charts is a nice little achievement.And to the inevitable chorus of naysayers I would say when was the last time you or your mates band were able to pull it off?

Agree, even though I said his video making could be better, I did say the facts that his videos are a great start for upcoming fans, and I should add he does seem like a sound enough bloke. He’s a fan, and he does get more of a bashing because he’s sharing that love on the internet on YouTube as would I guess a lot of us if we did the same.
