I’ll be honest I’m not sure why everyone is acting like an Oasis reunion is certain because of Noel’s divorce and him just saying “Never Say Never”? Just having a bit of fun! |

He’s taken this softer “it would take extraordinary circumstances” line for years now. It’s not suddenly happened because of the divorce. The casuals seem to think Sara is this evil Yoko who was the sole cause of the Oasis split and that the brothers had a fantastic relationship before she came along 🙃 X |

If it happens, I want 100% Noel-written. No question, for whatever reason (some understandable, some inexplicable) they let go the magical formula of Noel-written, Liam-sung and became mediocre as a result. That’s why NGHFB was so refreshing as you suddenly remembered the power of 11 Noel songs together. If it happens I want NGHFBs supporting to get my money’s worth. X |

At this point the only reason for a reunion is to stop people talking about a reunion, it would be a shite money grab, and you'd all be standing in some soulless stadium listening to the wankers around you going "oh my god, are they playing new songs?" every time it's not wonderwall...it's the past and needs to stay there

He probably still has a lot of respect for the mother of his children who spent the last 22 years with and that doesn’t erase the issues he had with Liam. We also don’t know anything about how much a divorce would cost Noel either. |

I don’t think there’s any chance of a new oasis album BUT If it does happen all songs MUST be written by N. Gallagher. Doesn’t matter who else is in the band. 11 tracks written by Noel with 10 sung by Liam. Anything else isn’t worth getting excited for. Gem, Andy, and Liam aren’t songwriters. Andy certainly is a songwriter. Just not an Oasis one. I do agree though, all songs written by Noel and sung by Liam minus a single Noel tune. |

Noel and Liam both know that their absolute best source of marketing is Liam's Twitter account. Even if they are on good terms, they'll play around for a little bit. Can't blame them. Particularly if they get bites from tabloids.

I imagine Noel in his studio over the last few years, tinkering away on his new songs.
For a while he was just writing using his bass, inspired by disco. After playing around with a drum machine he comes up with a song that sounds like The Cure.
He buys a 303 synth and spends a weekend playing with it trying to emulate that acid house sound he loved so much when out clubbing as a teenager.
Now and again to let off steam he records a cover. One day Dylan, another day Fleetwood Mac. He goofs around doing David Bowie impressions.
He spends a morning bantering on the phone to David Holmes discussing a remix he’s working on. Hopefully they can line up their calendars to meet for a session again soon. Holmes has just discovered some rare krautrock vinyl albums he can’t wait for Noel to hear.
One afternoon Noel gets stoned listening to jazz. For a laugh he bangs out a tune on the piano that sounds like Sun Ra.

Then I imagine Noel at the first Oasis rehearsal session arguing with Liam for several hours about whether Don’t Look Back in Anger should be the last song in the setlist or not…
