This isn't good, hooded vultures in Ghana and South Africa are on the brink of extinction a study has found. Vultures of course play an important part because they clean up diseases.

Mind you, I think that all vultures are going the same way and not just the hooded ones.

Cats most certainly are as affectionate as dogs, just in their own unique, subtle way. I love cats. π₯Ήπ!!

Some good news, extinct Guam Kingfisher takes flight again after nearly 40 years. A group of caretakes released six of these birds into the wild on Palmyra Atoll on September 23rd. I really hope that this is a big success for these beautiful birds but the odds are stacked against them such as natural disasters.

It hasn't turned into a cat thread at all. Well it should do. No it shouldn't. Anyway, if you want a cat thread why don't you start one yourself? Simple question.

This isn't good at all, WWF International reports that nature is disappearing and the size of wildlife populations has plummeted by a staggering 73%. And, it's getting worse over time, when it should be getting better.

Meanwhile the hateful Australian government have extended the right to cull Alphine dingoes which puts them at the risk of extinction. Shame on them.

Fifteen pine martens are darting through the wood of Dartmoor for the first time in 150 years after the rare but recovering species was reintroduced into the south-west England.
