Hello, long time lurker but wanted to set up an account and this is my first post. I think this song is great. It’s catchy, dark and full on groove. I hope the album follows this.
Great to see it getting such great word across the music media (thanks to those who posted the links), and in the main really positive word on social media.
Great stuff.

Song itself is mediocre. Video and lyrics confusing. He apparently said that if you watch the video, the lyrics are self-explanatory. Am I missing something because I don't get it. Is he trying say he or someone has issues with gender identity? Does he want to change his star sign (gemini) because he has two sides to himself and wishes he had one? Is he struggling with his feminine and masculine sides? Is it about Liam (seriously). like 'you say you want it you can't have it' reference to Liam wanting Oasis, something he can't have.
I don't get how this is song is self-explanatory.

The bassline on the chorus is something else, very good. Really enjoying how the song evolves.

The melodic twist into the chorus is fantastic, but then the tune doesn't continue into something new; it just repeats the twist melody and then calms back down with the "So, get your head down pretty boy..." bit.
Reminds me of Fade In/Out in that respect; a lot of great vibes, some good melodic turns, but ultimately the song-writing is too thin to go past being an enjoyable experience and become a genuinely great track. I'm whelmed, to be honest. It's okay. It's fine. It works well enough to merit a release, I suppose, but compared to the trailer for WBTM and then the colour-bomb of Holy Mountain, this is a very unexciting release.

I think that it might work better when we hear it on the album than it does as a stand alone song. I do quite like it though it's ok. But the same thing happened with Liam’s Better Days for me I wasn't mad on it when it was first released as a single but when the album came out it worked so much better and now I love it and I think that it could be the same for this new song by Noel for me.

The chorus fits perfectly for background music for the bit at the end of the games(somebody tell me what the name for these things are) with the world cup just around the corner......Noel gave up on the bond theme and wrote one for neymar instead

Rubbish just like is last album.how does he go from writing great songs to writing total shit I couldn't agree more. I'm actually blown away by how bad it is. The production, the drums, the vocals, the lyrics, the video.. the whole thing is an absolute mess and extremely forgettable. I think I will only listen to it again just to continue to dissect how poor of an effort it is.

I'm happy enough with this, not as bad as some are making out.... Think most are happy, raves on social media in the main. Good write ups. Seen quite a few on Twitter & FB say they aren’t Oasis/Noel/Liam fans but like the song.

I'm happy enough with this, not as bad as some are making out.... No, it's not bad. But it's not great either, is it? And in your heart you kind of know that although it sounds all right, it's actually just...shite.

Good news for Noel is the wider world appears to love the song. Although doubt he cares either way : )

Seen quite a few on Twitter & FB say they aren’t Oasis/Noel/Liam fans but like the song. Really? I'm seeing the opposite. Not many likes and a lot of negative comments from fans. Not saying there's no positive comments, but not enough to say job well done unless more positives come in over the next few days.

I quite liked it off first listen.
A couple of lines caught my attention. I'm intruiged to delve further into the lyrics.

OF COURSE it's about Liam. Everything's about Liam. Leo Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina" was totally about him. And make no mistake - "Das Boot" was NOT about a young crew experiencing the sheer terror and claustrophobic life of a submariner in World War II. NO! It was about fuc*ing Liam Gallagher. You people...
