Great band! I've been listening to their stuff and everything sounds supreme, a lot of The Verve influences. Looking forward to get more of them.

They are really original 🤣 Mate, come off it, you’re an OASIS fan! Saw these the other night. Really good although they didn’t play Isaiah which was an odd move. Average audience age was probably 40-something, which just shows what poor taste the young people of this country have these days (with the exception of the younger people on here of course!).

They sound alright but the inspirations are a bit on the nose at times, Deeper Than Holy definitely sounds like a direct riff from A Storm In Heaven era-Verve.
I don't think originality makes great music, no more than unoriginality makes poor music. But I like music that takes from various sources, at once familiar but also sounds novel with their own character and spirit put into it. Which is precisely what Oasis did in the 90s, Noel was a musical magpie in that sense. Compared to post-90s work when the songs just started directly riffing off one or two acts per tune.

It wasn’t so much that the songs went from loads of different influences to just one or two. It was the fact they went from ripping off Get It On (which in turn stole from Chuck Berry) to ripping off Same Size Feet by the Stereophonics. And nothing against the Stereophonics (who I don’t mind at all) but that’s quite a difference.

I must be getting old because I've never heard of them. A great band. They supported Liam at Knebworth on the Friday. Was gutted as they didn’t play the Saturday. Well worth a listen.

Another banger
I was a bit skeptical with this band at first because I thought they were just another band trying too hard to be the new Oasis / Verve but they've been so consistent in quality and developing their own sound. Deeper than holy, Isaiah, Your Day, Dancing on a Pin... Definitely worth a check.
