50%/50% He needs new influences to make his music fresh and interesting But he needs classic sounds too. He’s good at it and they are classic for good reasons

He needs to keep pushing forward and bring in more different sounds. Just as long as he doesn't start doing a Noel and start doing dance music but I doubt he'll ever do that.

Right now, I think I’d have to go for an album of stuff similar to I’m Free and The River.

He can sing and perform any style. I hope he keeps varying things up.

...him and his kids to play all the instruments and songs that only he/they wrote. Obviously.

If I could have what I wanted (and I can’t), I’d like none of these. I’d fantasize of an album, built over 6 months to a year, of Liam collaborating with one other simpatico songwriter who really means it, who has an organic style, who writes personal, strong, distinctive rock and roll songs but not pop, and not Wyatt or Kurstin (but they can produce.)
(I also like idea of a series of collaborations as The Escapist suggested recently, but very hard to pull off.)
Idle dreams of course … and not what the young fans desire, which is what fuels Liam.
