This doesn't really make sense without a truly epic part 2 so I'm excited to hear how that'll turn out to be. I'm thinking something along the lines of the strings bit in Everybody's on the Run...?

With We will Get There in the end. I liked it for what it was. Didn't want to see it on an album. THIS is great as is and has so much potential I definitely want to see this on the album built out.
Right now it's like Idlers dream in that it's great but leaves you wanting more

Reminds me of a lot of the acoustic sessions he'd do around 2002 where he'd slow a lot of songs down like Live Forever, Cast No Shadow etc.

When Noel was doing promo for Back The Way We Came he played a journalist 4 new tracks he was working on, one of which was described as a Beatlesy ballad with a big orchestra then coming in

If the album was finished 10 days ago, could we expect a release towards the end of 2022 ? The album isn't done. He hasn't even started to properly record it with his band. He merely said he's "done" writing and demoing the songs he is taking into the studio. I'd love for a September/October 2022 release. It won't take him long to bang it out if he's got all the songs finished and has been tinkering with many of them for 1.5 years. Worst case spring 2023. |
