They sound great together but the song is awful. When Ashcroft said it would be acoustic, I was expecting just him and a guitar which would have been good. Not these cheesy and boring Sheeran sheened tunes. Liam & Noel would have slated this in '94. Yeah. I just wanted Richard and the guitar. No strings. No keyboards. No help. Basically unplugged. It's as stripped as Oasis' MTV Unplugged was, with the full (cheesy) orchestra bolstering Noel & Bonehead's acoustic guitars...

I haven't listened to it and I'm not really in any rush to do so despite Liam doing some vocals on it. I find Richard Ashcroft a bit boring these days.

I really love this song and really loved this stripped down version with both Liam and RA.
But I do understand why some people here dislike it as it's far from being RA's heaviest material.

Richard Ashcroft is one of my favourite artists but this song is a boring as hell. Even Liam’s vocals can’t make me like it but it’s great to hear both of them together. I would like to hear more collaborations with them together

Sounds like Westlife / Robbie Williams. Really cheesy. Don't like it one bit. Oh well It's so bad! I was thinking McFly.

I'm surprised this collaboration doesn't sound better. It is one of my favorite solo Richard songs. The vocals sound mesh mosh. Almost like they weren't together and just layered over one another. Its ok. Thought it would be much much better.

Christ alive. Some of you people and your slavish devotion to Richard Ashcroft baffle me.

Jesus, the negativity on here surprises me sometimes. Every single person associated with Oasis has done much worse stuff than this, but somehow any mention of the name Richard Ashcroft has people coming out en force just to assure each other how bad he is. And it's never a question of taste either, Ashcroft is just 100% objectively shit apparently. Fucking hell.
I love this song, one of Ashcroft's best solo tunes for sure, and Liam's voice fits perfectly.

I like it. Had never heard it before, but it's a very upbeat track and will make a great summer song.

I love Ashcroft, he’s extremely talented & Bittersweet is one of the greatest songs of all time but imo this song is average. But I do agree that people on here are overwhelmingly negative which I don’t understand nor do I like.

Whoever is involved with it.

I've always enjoyed this song but this version wasn't that great, tbh. The trip-hop production on the original elevates it to something greater while in acoustic form just sounds like another milquetoast RPA number.
