If it was that old he’d have told us by. One is called Flying on the Gound and the other is caller Flying Hight. It’s like saying Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Stop the Clocks must be the same song. |

Now 23 years later Noel has a new compilation and track called "Flying High (On The Ground)". I gotta imagine this is no coincidence. We haven't heard Noel speak on this song yet. We shall see what emerges when the next round of press/interviews resumes. We know Noel found that old CD/files of long lost Oasis demos. He could have potentially resurrected it from that discovery. |

Sounds like a song Richard Ashcroft could only dream of writing. Can hear the Motown and Burt Bacharach influences.
It's really nice. I'm liking the fact that Noel is veering away from boring old influences like The Who/Rolling Stones/Beatles/Doors/Velvet Underground (insert any white male 60s/70s act) and dipping more into the Burt Bacharach and Motown songbook.
