#2 on Itunes which is apparently his best ever peak? Shame they're not releasing a vinyl, this could have actually charted well

I wonder if it'll be Noel's 12th number one album. Pretty amazing when you think about it. If Oasis' number 2 singles had been number 1, they would have had 14 number 1 singles instead of 8.

It's ok but it's too much like the Bee Gees one which was posted in one of the threads in my opinion.

I thought he'd had 10 number 1s, not 11? Or did Time Flies get no.1? FWIW, they count studio albums officially, not compilations. Stop The Clocks technically broke the streak of no.1s back in 2006, as it only got to 2.

No they count, they just don't count towards the streak of #1 studio albums, that's another thing And yeah Time Flies got to number one

It's #99 in the mids, probably will be out by friday, but this made me think do you believe there's a chance we get a double vinyl with We're On Our Way Now and Flying On The Ground at some point?

I'm surprised those aren't the tracks that appear on the 7" included in the boxset. Seems like a no brainer to me. Not sure anyone needs STMHTF on a 7". Most fans will have the 12" single anyway.

Yeah it seems like a obvious choice to me, but maybe it'll come later Seeing how they're basically doing zero promo with WOOWN I was wondering if they're planning on marketing FOTG as the proper single closer to the release

With all the Olivia Rodrigo hype at the minute he may need around 30k for a number 1, wonder if he can do that with a Best Of

Even if Noel's greatest hits album doesn't get to number one then hopefully he will get a number two? But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Oasis SHOULD have had more than 8 #1s. Crazy Frog and Candle In The Wind came out of nowhere and were radio beasts that blocked SCYHO and SBM from becoming #1s despite huge first week sale numbers. Oasis could have moved Roll With It away from Blur putting Country House up the same day, it would have been an easy #1 another week that year but the war was being waged and it probably did Oasis more good in the long run to be part of the chart battle and coming up second then if they moved it because of the immense PR surrounding it. Oasis later botched and bumbled the release of The Shock of the Lightning. It had its radio premier on August 15 but it didn't come out for purchase on iTunes or CD until...................September 29. That is 6 weeks!!! It was bootlegged from hell and back during that time. It would have charted a lot higher, likely #1 if it dropped the last week of August 2008. So that is 4 more potential #1s.

Yep, Wonderwall should have definitely gone to number one in the UK. But I agree that they should have had more number ones than what they did.
