Just been watching a lot of footage of noels gigs especially the last tour and collaborations , does anyone know if he’s actually playing live on any who built the moon tracks or his collaborations , sounds daft was looking at what they played on Fort Knox for instance he plays 2 chords all way through after the break part he just plays a chord ? On collaborations over recent years he just plays a chord all time? Never hear his guitar on his newest tracks .. it’s a waste I feel that he’s gone this way .. anyone know why? Gem you can hear Noel sounds turned off !

He's definitely playing. Many of the moon -> present era tracks are built around just a couple of chords, and the interesting stuff comes from all the different threads going on around it, so there's a bit less "driving the song" for the rhythm guitar to do. I agree that some of the arrangements on tour weren't as interesting in the guitars as they could have been - both Fort Knox and Keep on Reaching could have have slightly fewer parts from Mike and more from Noel and Gem.
It was interesting to see Noel's lead playing reduced to a few bars in What a Life for most of the '17-'19 shows, eventually expanding to... a very similar solo in This Is The Place.

He usually minimizes and simplifies all his songs live. Eliminate chord transitions and other things.

One thing I definitely miss are his solos. I do love Gem's style (Riverman and Supernova sounded awesome in his hands) but Noel has a brilliant simplicity that makes the guitar feel like singing.
I was watching an older performance of What a Life and he does some very interesting bits here and there that makes the song feel much more interesting IMO

Gem you can hear Noel sounds turned off ! He plays live, you can actually hear the G chord he plays on Fort Knox. The backing tracks of any of Noel's songs are always super simple, including Who Build The Moon. It's the arrangements that make it richer. Also, he doesn't just play one chord, he also plays several chords after YSEÉ screams the "hey hey hey heeeeeeeey" part. He's always been minimalist. He mostly plays the same chords with a capo (G, D, A minor, C and/or Cadd7) but on other songs like Fort Knox, the bass, drums, keyboards and sound effets do the hardest work.
