It's very possible that a deluxe edition of this album could have a rarities disc that isn't part of the vinyl release.
I'm not saying it will happen...

Record Store Day have always got exclusive stuff from Noel. Well exclusive remixes anyway. I’d be surprised if whatever this is is just an exclusive disc colour.
And I’d also be surprised if he’s taking this long to announce something that’s just a bunch of remixes.
Noel really is the ultimate tease.

I've pretty much accepted that this is going to be a greatest hits with maybe one additional "new" track, and that's it. There's no rarities coming (artists are too smart to put rarities on a 10-year anniversary edition when you can just as easily wait for the 20th anniversary and milk more money); nothing live; nothing surprising.
He's never releasing the AA or DIV sessions because unlike the Mystique demoes, he doesn't like those sessions. And there's no release date or strategy that's ever going to be low-key enough for him to unleash something he doesn't like. To expect him to do otherwise is antithetical to how all artists actually think (not just him).
This is a stop-gap release. It's a money grab. It's whatever you want to call it. You don't have to buy it; no on is putting a gun to your head. I'm not buying it; and that's cool. I'll just sit this one out, move on with my life, and wait for the album.
