It looks and feels great. Heavy, well designed, full of nice pics and tons of text. Looking forward to read it!

I started reading it last night. It’s good.
I’ve always wanted Oasis to do a big Beatles Anthology style book. This is as close as we’re going to get for now.

Beautiful and smells awesome! I'm already through with it and enjoyed it very much. Of course, nothing new, apart from the fact that I must have watched "Supersonic" very often, as I kept hearing all the voices and not just the most obvious Gallagher ones.
What was a little bit bitter-sweet, that even more than in the movie it felt like a conversation between Liam and Noel sometimes. I wonder how they did that, played the others' parts before the interview or simply "he said that, what do you think?".

Mmmm....new book smell! So there are really no new/interesting tidbits in there that weren't on the screen? Usually you would do a few hours of interviews with each person that are cut into the few minutes of actual sound bites you'll use. I figured there'd be some fun stuff that didn't make the cut -- but then again, the Gallaghers (and associates) are quotation machines, so maybe most of what they recorded was used.

There are quite a few tidbits, yes. And they elaborate more on some stories. The RW story is quite funny and don't think was mentioned in the film? They basically blame each other for Robbie being there with them ;-) The book is really well made, proper coffee table type thing. It looks and SMELLS great. That said, I only paid £18 for it and for that price I'd say it's value for money. Not sure I'd pay £40 or something like that though.

Oh sorry, that was a misunderstanding. Of course there is a lot of interesting and fun stuff that wasn't in the movie. A genius idea, actually, giving us this "extended version". I just meant if you have read a few books about (early) Oasis there are no totally surprising new stories. Which was not meant dismissively, I enjoyed that book very much.
