If Oasis had released WBTM, with Liam on vocals on some tracks (especially Holy Moutain, Black and White Sunshine, Keep On Reaching), it would hailed as one of the best Oasis records.

Sad album really, old man trying to make music that he is not really capable of.

Overall I think it's a great album. It has some of my favorites Noel's solo songs like She Thaught Me How To Fly and The Man Who Built The Moon, and I really enjoy most of the songs. However, I wouldn't say it's my favorite album just because it's the only NGHFB album that has parts that I absolutely can't stand: Holy Mountain's chorus and the french part in It's A Beautiful World.. and it's such a shame because IABW would probably be one of my favorite songs off the album without that part

I've been looking for something like that since the release but never found.. is it on youtube?

I can't stand Keep On Reaching, it's one of Noel's worst songs for me and I always skip it when I listen to the album.

Really like the Reflex Revision of it. IABW remixes are great too.

There is an excellent fan made version without the French speaking part to scratch the Beautiful World itch at least 😀 Why would anyone want to remove the one part of the song that makes it unique? Quite simple; some people dislike the French interlude and think it disrupts the flow of the song, that's all. Whether that is wrong or right is subjective, and the fan made mix isn't replacing Noel's original, it's just there as an option 👍🏻

I didn't care much for this record when it was first released, I love it now though...

I wish Noel got the original 1930s sample cleared. Not sure why it doesn’t sit with me. Ideally Holmes and Noel would have done something sonically in that spot where Charlotte is.

I like the song but that French part spoils it for me and I wish that it wasn't in the song.

I know it is all opinion but if you remove the French part the song becomes the most bland plain song. It is not one of his better vocals. WBTM is special but without the French part the song is ordinary and could have fit in on oasis worst albums.

Keep On Reaching sounds like a terrible cover of a Fall Out Boy song and that band is utter shit. In my opinion, the only listenable tune from this album is TMWBTM (which is great).

I never thought Noel would release something as bad as WBTM it’s a truly terrible album with very weak songs dressed up in clever production. The only 2 songs I like are How to Fly and Black and White Sunshine . The rest are just utter rubbish also The Man who Built the Moon is the very definition of a total nothing song and for the life of me I can’t understand why some fans think it is brilliant.
Don’t get me wrong I am all for experimentation but the songs still have to be there and in this case they most certainly are not . Worse was to come with the EP’s of course except for a few exceptions. With Moon and the EP’s Noel seems to revel in just putting out bad to mediocre work but he thinks it is revelation talk about being deluded .
Hopefully with “we’re gonna get there in the end” we are through the worst of the Moon period and can look forward to real solid tunes which is why we all came here in the first place .

After reading through the replies in the other thread, I once again gave Keep On Reaching and Be Careful What You Wish For a try.
I'm sorry, I just dont get it.
