Charlotte released a cover song from her upcoming EP (out tomorrow) that Noel contributed to - she posted about it on her Instagram. You can hear him at the end of the track. I guess the guitar noodling in the background might be him? Maybe the whole acoustic guitar too?
The EP is the first one of three to be released by Charlotte. I hope her cover of "The Right Stuff" is on one of the other two as the tracklist for this first EP called "Fourteen Years" is this:
1. Fourteen Years
2. Mind Contorted
3. M.R.I. Song
4. Planet Ping Pong

Who would have thought back in 1994-1996 that Noel would be involved with something like this to the point he is in the video I read this comment and went to listen to the song expecting it to be something really "out there" for Noel but... it's not lol (I guess I know what you meant but it made me expect something different hahah) Anyways her voice is a bit too boring to me - the parts where she duets with the guy sounds much better.. but overall, I like it. |

Noel getting into the Shields path and doesnt do a bad job tbh. This song would've come out in 2023 if Kevin did his parts whenever he wanted to lol.

Great interview. Haven't listened to the EP yet, but enjoyed hearing the backstory and really liked this cover. Looking forward to hearing how AOTR sounds with the changes in the next EP in the spring.
