For a while, I didn't realize that Dan McDougall's backing vox were on As You Were. He is credited for his multiple instruments but no backing vocals. Not getting credit for backing vocals is something that happens often.
However, we heard Dan's voice at the 2018 Brits on Live Forever (Link Below). There was also an interview (possibly stage left podcast) where Dan said that 'I Never Wanna Be Like You' was basically the demo with Liam and Him. You can clearly hear 'ooohs' (3:14 ish in the link below) at the end that 100% sound like the vocals from the Live Forever performance. I'm positive it's him.
Then on Universal Gleam was the one I just realized might have some also. Vicky Akintola is the female backing vocalist and Liam has some great backing vocals at well. However, the 'oohs' in the back at around 1:48 in the link below of Universal Gleam sounds very similar to the known Dan vox from Live Forever and Never Wanna Be Like You. It blends really well with the tracks and when Liam's backing vox come in at 2:04 it really is a great moment. I think this song is rather under-appreciated, especially when you hear everything going on in the back.
I actually think there are a lot of Dan backing 'oohs' throughout the album, especially on the tracks produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat. I think they are very good.
