Definitely my favourite Beatles record. Obviously there are no bad songs on it but if I must pick 3 I guess these are the ones that do it for me the least right at this moment. Personally I'm not gonna include Paperback Writer or Rain as they're simply not on the record but they certainly should have been! Favourite 3:- Tomorrow Never Knows- Love You To- Eleanor Rigby Least Favourite 3: - Here, There, Everywhere - Good Day Sunshine - For No One
Sorry Paul!

My favourite Beatles album, personally there isn't a song I dislike. Not going to include the ones that aren't on the album.
Favourites: Here, there and everywhere Eleanor Rigby
Least favourite: Dr. Robert

I have decided to include Paperback Writer/Rain, as I feel they're part of the Revolver era. And to make choices harder to choose also

Favourite: 'Tomorrow Never Knows' Least favourite: 'Love You To'
There's nothing I really dislike (the 'Paperback Writer' single included), but 'Love You To' is a bit of a dirge, innit? In common with most of George's early songs. His melodies then couldn't ascend like Paul's, and his lyrics couldn't convey the same depths of feeling as John's. But, as we know, he got better--and how!

I find Revolver to be slightly overrated by Beatle fans. I still love it but side 2 has a fair amount of not so great tunes. Side 1 is up there with anything they did. I've never really liked Good Day Sunshine,Got To Get You Into My Life, Doctor Robert and I Want to Tell You. I'd put it on par with Rubber Soul in terms of consistency. It would have been amazing if they had stuck on Rain and Paperback Writer.
Favourite is probably Eleanor Rigby
Least would be Got To Get You Into My Life. I can see what Paul was trying to do but the horns are too stiff sounding. Obviously they were going for a Motown vibe but only had British session musicians who weren't able to capture the right feel.

Out of interest, where would people put ‘Paperback Writer’ and/or ‘Rain’ in a hypothetical tracklist? I’m guessing ‘Paperback’ would open side 2 for most. I like ‘Good Day Sunshine’, but it always seemed an odd choice for opener.

I like to listen to Revolver and then get inspired to continue listening by putting on Dig Out Your Soul.

I like ‘Good Day Sunshine’, but it always seemed an odd choice for opener. I'd open side 2 with RAIN as I think GOOD DAY SUNSHINE following it would then work better as an immediate counterbalance (in terms of mood and lyrics). It also works better with the album as a single CD format as SHE SAID SHE SAID followed by RAIN flows much better than SHE SAID SHE SAID followed by GOOD DAY SUNSHINE. I'd put PAPERBACK WRITER between HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE and YELLOW SUBMARINE.

Tomorrow Never Knows Eleanor Rigby (as radical as the track above) Rain

Favourites
- Rain (my all-time favourite Beatles track and I happen to agree with Nick Hornby that Noel never got any close to this despite trying very hard) - Eleanor Rigby (another top 5) - She Said She Said
Least favourites: - Love You To - I Want To Tell You - Here, There And Everywhere (always thought that it is sickly sweet)
But even those are good songs, just least favourites from the selection. A candidate for my favourite album, surely. The fact that Rain is a B-side blows my mind every time, the whole sonic landscape is just amazing, how the fuck can you release that as a B-side, are you mad???
Ah, no, you're just The Beatles. OK, then.
