Noel is 100% on media lockdown right now. As much as I would love it, there is no way that he'll be on the MM podcast again until he's given big exclusive tell-all interviews to the NMEs of the world.
I am insanely curious about the timeline of the reunion though. How long before the announcement was the decision made? Because Noel has mentioned a lot of things on the podcast that wouldn't make sense if a reunion was in the cards. Was Noel making up stories for fun to rile up the listeners/the spying music press?
Im thinking about things like the 2 albums he supposedly started and scrapped in the first half of the year or him ghosting Dave Grohl because of his Oasis reunion comments.

The biggest hint of a reunion for me was when he told MM that he was shutting his studio down as he was bereft of production ideas. Made no sense to me and I instantly thought that there was something happening behind the scenes.
He'd been doing a 2 hour commute to his new studio for the best part of 2 years and then all of he sudden he lives a "bike ride" away from it and he's shutting it down for a year, even though (as he always claims) he had albums worth of material written and was starting to record. I thought it was a giveaway that something was on the cards.

Then he said he was shutting it down for six months… which could have been a deterrent.

Liam said at the start of the DM tour that Noel was still playing hard to get, so I don't think it was agreed then. This is purely speculation, but I imagine there were some sort of conversations when the rumours first started to surface in May but I don't think Noel actually agreed until Liam was well into the DM tour in late June/July.

Still seems far to short a timeline to arrange a tour of this size. However, the fact they're on course to likely sell over 1.5 million tickets based on nothing but a revived logo and 2 blokes in a quick and dirty photo shoot shows the brand Oasis is actually far bigger than most of us imagined or I don't know what I'm talking about.

Just got an email from the podcast about Matt's next episode about UFOs.
Anyway the more interesting bit is ~
'(PS - in talks with NG on the conditions of his possible return. Bloody cheek really after all my efforts to keep him relevant in the Oasis lull)'

Yeah. I imagine there was probably several weeks of negotiating and influencing before it was officially agreed - could of provisionally booked venues if things were looking likely but not quite signed? I'm thinking that AEW wrestling usually run annual shows at Wembley in late August but they're skipping next year and running the show in Texas instead in July. They're back in 2026 though. Coldplay are playing the late August dates they would usually book Wembley for but why have they not just booked Wembley for July if they're running the show in Texas then? Did Oasis get there first?
