Has that Oasis magic (obviously). I love it.
Liam vocals plus a proper explosion at the end of the mystical swirling outro, and this would have been a great latter day Oasis single.
8/10

Nice song with good production. Very Oasis. The guitars are a bit weak and he could've done more with it. Should've had a kick ass outro solo. As it stands, 8/10. Fits in nicely with the rest of the EP tracks.

8/10. Liam should have a go at it in the next tour if Noel thinks it's the last great Oasis song.

8/10 is about right I guess, with Liam probably a 9/10.

I hate that he murdered the song... so much time waiting and he releases it on the worst possible timing in his career

Great tune, great lyrics. "problems are the size of a cow" is a great line akin to "slowly walking down the hall, faster than a canon ball" - Noel is a master of making nonsense lyrics sound like they mean something. It makes you wonder, how big are your problems really? The track itself could've been a bit heavier and have more choir like the demo but I like how he did the first verse. A nice ending to his EP run.
8/10

I gave it an 8, it may only deserve a 7 but I have a soft spot for this type of classic Noel tunes. Give us some more of that ilk, Our Kid!

7.5/10
It's a good song and the production improves on the demo. But I cannot help feeling that it's another example of Noel in the late Oasis years, using his talent to write what everybody expects from him, but without really feeling it anymore

I know but I think production killed it... killed a great vibe the song had on its demo... the groove, the intensity, the distortion, the grip. What is that stop in the beginning of the song?

Ok I respect that... and I think many of others like the production. However I strongly disagree. Song is gorgeous.. hands down

Gave it a 7. His best solo work since Dead In The Water and about level with HC/DBTT b-sides. He's getting off too lightly with that cow lyric though

He's getting off too lightly with that cow lyric though What do you mean? The cow lyric is genius and classic Noel. It's a down to earth line which carrys a huge meaning - it really makes you wonder how big your problems really are in the grand scheme of things.

There are some really tiny cows wondering about out there as well.

I am very dissapointed with this version of the song. Noel had more than 10 years to polish the lyrics and instead he dwells in his lazy "free-flow" songwriting. There is a moment when I am not sure if I´m listening to Freaky Teeth or Everybody´s on the road. As someone said earlier, the song lost the rocky vibe heard in the demo. This songs crowns Noel´s lowest point in his career.

He's getting off too lightly with that cow lyric though I think it's like Sail On where some of us just really need to hear that sentiment right now. I haven't heard that other song since at least 2006 either, haha.

I think 7.5/10 is a fair score. There are a few tweaks from the demo I like and a few I don't but ultimately it doesn't reach it's full potential. If I had to weigh it up, I'd take the demo. A decent Liam vocal take, heavier guitars and a better solo would have been on my wish list.

It's a 7/7.5 for me.
Like most of the other songs off of the EPs.
But that's the thing, for me, it's been 9 songs between a 7 and 8. So I'm well happy with them all.
