Did anyone else raise an eyebrow at Noel's introduction of the song (as read by Gordon Smart)? Something along the lines of "maybe the last great Oasis song...or not" implying that there may be more (either lost songs or new material some day). Knowing Noel, he's just throwing that out there to mess with everyone, and possibly someone who is very vocal on Twitter in particular. Where can I find this? |

Few surprises on this version, overall not bad but i can see why its only the third track. I never thought this was a huge tune anywyay (unless Liam had sung it). Not much happening bar the « solo » and the heavy guitars are gone.

I found it... For the sake of the forum though, it's on a certain website aptly named "juice". That's your hint.
One of the admin's also gave out the other keyword. So it's up to you to put the two words together. The hint in the admin's reply to this thread is the name of a certain file format.

I don't like it, it's quite boring and repetitive. This song needs heavy guitars and a good solo, it doesn't suit his vocals at all.
Nice drums and bass.

I like it. Not great, not terrible. The slower tempo was a mistake in my opinion. I am pretty upset about it being cow. All these years sitting on the lyrics and Noel couldn't have been slightly more creative.

It's probably geoblocked, as i can play it here in Greece. It plays here in Australia too. Try using a VPN and changing it to Australia. |

I also share the theory that it was held just in case oasis got back together.
New version is slower, feels like it drags, and the strummy guitars make it quite Dadrock. Preferred it when it was a bit more driven.
Choir definitely sounds reused from demo/DOYS version.
If it IS mixed by Sardy, could this be a holdover from NGHFB? Sounds in that style.

It didn't expect it to be vastly different from the original demo version, so I wasn't particularly hyped, but it's nice to have it finished and available nonetheless, I like how it's produced, the song is still what it was 12 years ago, a good rock n roll tune I probably would have appreciated more at another point in my life
Still, it makes for a good listen and I appreciate the variety it gives to this EP, Wandering Star - Blue Moon Rising - Come On Outside is a pretty nice stretch of tunes to say the least
