I wish i was excited. I hope it'll be alright and not just remix of the demo. It was kinda lazy. Need better vocals too. But Noel has vastly evolved since that 08 or 10 demo. Just listening to the demo again now. It just needs to be big, like really massive and yes, with better vocals – sure they are on it, plus the girls backing it would be great. I hope it's that, and not just a re-recording that he'd have done around the time of Chasing Yesterday. We'll see.

Whatever it sounds like, it better be fulfilling, cause it’s the last material we’re getting for a LONG time.

It’s wild how long Noel sits on good songs.
Come On Outside is better than many songs on DOYS, it could’ve been an Oasis single, but no.
It could easily have been on his debut album but no.
It would’ve fit really nicely on CY but no.
It fits the feel of WBTM really well but no.
Instead he chucks it out as a b-side on an EP.
So random.
Anyway, can’t wait to hear it ;-D

Everything aside, as an avid Spotify user, I respect that Noel is officially releasing some fan favorites like Come on Outside and Alone on the Rope because now we can add those songs to playlists and shuffle them with the rest of our songs. It's a good move and also lets other people find those gems we've been sitting on for years already.

I didn’t want some like Record Machine or Stop The Clocks to appear on it. Maybe I’m just being spoiled because those songs leaked back in the spring of 2008 and were just ok. Nothing special in 2008 or 2011. I'd have much preferred that Do The Damage or Freaky Teeth or Come On, It’s Alright make the party.

It’s really weird that STC and RM and even She Must Be One Of Us and Teotihuacan were considered for his debut but not COO. Did he just forget about it?? X

I don’t think he’s done with Teotihuacan - I would put (a little) money on that reappearing at some point on some future b side or something.

I've never understood this either. One of my favourite B sides. The remixes of ot kick ass too There’s remixes of it?! Shit...my mistake!! Sorry! It's let the lord shine a light on me Unkle Remix. All the Unkle remixes shit all over the Holmes stuff for me. Some of Lavelles stuff such as the utterly brilliant remix of Ian Browns Reign have been the ingintion switch to many a night out

X I suspect Noel decided to keep it up his sleeve just in case of the slim possibility the band got back together. It does sound more Oasis than HFB and just needs a Liam vocal. Now there is zero chance of it happening he has just decided to throw it away.

The 'demo' just sounds like the DOYS back tracking with a Noel vocal. It's a painful reminder of what could have been. Stick it and Record Machine on DOYS - both with Liam vocals - and opinions of that album would be massively improved.
