It's decent, noel's voice sounds a bit weak and the instrumentation is a bit meh but overall I like it. 7/10

Im getting more excited about Blue moon Rising tbh. Atleast theres a clear chorus there, and the verses are decent too

Can't stop hearing Ozzy's "Dreamer" in this. The chorus sounds actually like a pre-chorus, and it's a bit disappointing that nothing "bigger" follows it. Decent B-side, nothing more. 6/10.

7/10 for me as well, waiting for a proper rip since the YT link seems very compressed. As you said Leron, Noel's voice is a bit weak on this one, not digging the over the top effect on his vocals too. Too drowned in echo and reverb effects, i miss the Dry Noel.
Overall nice tune, but far from being my fav from his solo career.

I don´t like the production on this one...love the sound in the others Ep´s.
As you have already said, voice is too weak in the mix, too much echo and reverb, and a very generic instrumentation.
Nice song, 7/10 for me. Waiting for Blue Moon Rising. With the 1:30 preview it looks like it´s going to be a great song

For me it's 7.5/10 - 8/10 at the time. It's a great song, no doubt, but the productions seems a bit on autopilot. I feel like Noel did not put so much attention in producing this as in other songs of the EPs

it's a good song but nothing "majestic" like someone said ... The sense of entitlement to post that at the EXACT same time as people are posting all over this forum and online that it's one of, if not the, best Gallagher solo song etc is FUCKING STAGGERING. That "someone" was moi, and I took risks to share info on producers, songs, rare b side recordings to be nice to the compardres on this forum in check with progress and a bit of hope when people were Disco-mplaining. Not doing that again.

Good song, poor execution. The chief just can't produce ballads. Dying Of The Light, If I Had A Gun, Revolution Song come to mind. What's odd is that the live version is energetic, has the bass line more prominent, has that majestic orchestra in the instrumental and the vocal line is more "consistent" for lack of a better word. I think the studio version sounds like it's fallen between being spaced out and being conventional and as a result it just sounds bland and generic. I'd love to see him put songs like this in the hands of someone else and let them have 100% control over the production.
8/10 for the song. 3/10 for the recording.
~ 6/10

it's a good song but nothing "majestic" like someone said ... You're taking it out of context. They said it had a soaring, majestic melody. Which it does.

Not doing that again. Honestly mate I'll 'stick up' (for lack of a better word, you don't need sticking up for!) for you as much as needed on this. All you did was give your opinion ages ago. You said tons of times that it was just what you'd heard and could change. People took it how they wanted. And in this case they've simply / clearly forgotten/not read what you put anyway. It's mental. Appreciated the info at the time but this is why people can't have nice things

A bit overproduced and not as good as A Dream... which has become one of my favourite Noel solo songs, but it's still a good 7.5/10, could grow to an 8

The song is brillant, the live version gets the point across better though.
99% sure that people are saying "doesn't really have a chorus" because the "all of the dreams you have" part is not produced like a chorus, even though it has the melodic power to be one. Instead of adding instrumentalization the song just strips it away at the part that should have the strongest emotional impact.

The song is not bad, but this production is a real travesty. Too much echo and reverb going on, the fucking bells ... I can hardly hear Noel. And it’s a bit boring.

Gave it a six, on first listens. It's nowhere near being one of the best Gallagher solo songs. It's alright. Bit muffled and plodding, but not bad. Blue Moon Rising sounds much more intriguing, to me.

Honestly, one of my least favourite songs he’s done solo. Just seems a bit flat to me. Also sad that the horns done during the break live didn’t show up in the studio mix. Here’s hoping we hear BMR today!

Beautiful song but I agree - the lead vocal is buried in the mix.
