Who built the moon? Is the musical equivalent of a can of piss. That being said, the first two albums are mega biblical. Gotta be chasing yesterday for me. The lyrics and melody are fucking amazing.

I'm gonna do my best to ignore that(I've already failed). I actually like BSD a bit now, the 2 EPs are pretty good. Excited for the next one!

WBTM? is his best, but for the purposes of this poll, I'll go with NGHFB. I have very pleasant memories of that time.

I like how liam put it(kinda paraphrasing), 'Noel said he's trying to be more experimental with this album(WBTM?), But I think the tunes are just bad. If he took out an acoustic guitar and played these tunes, they wouldn't be good songs'.

NGHFB for me. This record get a lot of bad reviews on here but i like it, bar the reworked Record Machine and STC. The tunes are there, the production is ok on most tracks and it's a nice road trip record. Very cinematic.
I dont really feel CY. Feels like a weird compilation, rushed released. Few standout tracks (Riverman, X ray eye, Right stuff, Songs remain the same, Do the Damage should have been on there) but overall it doesn't really grab my attention.

Chasing Yesterday MAY have slightly "better" songs; however, for me NGHFB. It hit for me at a good time, some good memories around that release. Also being some of his first releases since leaving Oasis, my excitement built it up much more. When TDOYAM was released, I had that on solid repeat for a close to a week.

CY was the first Noel release I was around to and it helped me through so much. I don't come back to it often though – can't remember the last time I listened to, uhm, Lock All The Doors or You Know We Can't Go Back. NGHFB gets a bit more rotation around here.
That being said, CY has The Dying Of The Light - The Right Stuff - While The Song Remains The Same in a row. CY for me.

I was really pleasantly surprised by NGHFB when it came out - I was expecting a sound more like his shows with Gem and Terry, so was thrilled that it had the depth that it did.
However, it’s clearly a continuation of the work he’d been doing with Sardy since 2004. There’s a through line from Mucky Fingers to Rapture to Dream On. It presented some very good new songs, but not very many new ideas - it’s more or less what the next Oasis album would have sounded like.
CY in many ways feels like the first proper HFB album. It’s not experimental or anything, but it plays around with sounds and structure more than Noel had previously done, to great effect. WBTM was only surprising to people who hadn’t heard CY - in the context of his previous album, WBTM feels like the next logical progression.
The songs are equally strong on both, but CY is more interesting.

Chasing Yesterday was the album which helped me to carry on after losing my dearest mum, so this album has always a special place in my heart.

I listen to the demos, faster than the speed of magic, the most.

I listened to NGHFB way more on initial release, but now I find myself going back to Chasing Yesterday way more often.
But I'm still pretty lost by his current stuff ... hopefully in time it will connect with me, like CY was a bit of a late hit.

I always thought “Everybody’s On The Run” was a tad over produced. Especially the intro and echo effect on initial Noel vocals. Once the song gets going it’s a beast and definitely a good song live. I still wish it was more stripped back like the demo.

I still wish it was more stripped back like the demo. The first time I heard Everybody’s On The Run I laughed out loud. Great tune, but with that intro I imagined Noel floating down from heaven earnestly strumming his guitar surrounded by an angelic choir. X
