Probably more Debbie's influence than anyone else. And fair play to her, Liam's comeback has been massive.

I think it's good he's mellowed out a bit. A lot of people were sick of him in 2014. Being a no-fucks-given rock n roll star is great when you're 21 but Liam's 45 now, and like Noel, he's becoming one of rock's elder statesmen. Having an attitude like the one he displayed in LDSMD just comes off as petulant.

Also, the "I just shout into a mic" thing is nothing new. He says the exact same thing on the DM DVD. (Right? Or was it some other doc?)

EDIT: and now this post makes no sense... basically the OP was on about how Liam ain't Liam any more, he's become sanitised, fake, w/e.

You do understand that Liam has always put on a front, right? It’s almost impossible for that wild rockstar persona to be his actual personality, and if it is, he’s an insane person. People change over time. He’s a 40 year old singer at this point, his music should speak for him, not his off stage antics. It’s not 1996 anymore

I think that he changed naturally like we all do because of his age, girlfriend, kids... But it's not like that he changed drastically because some big boss from some record company told him so.

I mean, just look at his twitter account. Would all those posts be possible if he became some big record company puppet?

Some of his interviews last year were really funny. Compare it to his Beady Eye interviews where he seemed pissed off.
