Funny atomsphere yesterday, the media would have you believe that all the empty seats last year was due to indifference of Wenger. What's this year's excuse than??

Thats tickets sold. As long as theres a high amount of tickets sold the powers that be wont care. of course, but does that mean people are buying tickets then not turning up? or is it just the season holders not using their tickets?

Obviously I don't know for sure, but I presume it's ST holders not going and not bothering to sell on?

At the halfway stage, let's grade our new manager and his new signings:
Unai Emery: Was doing very well with the 11 consecutive wins, and 22 undefeated in all competitions. Improved tactics, game plan, and substitutions. Would be graded higher, but has gone off the boil with some poor results and shocking decisions in recent weeks. B-
Bernd Leno: Some really impressive saves, but has been somewhat sloppy at times. Definitely reminds me of Wojciech Szczesny in many regards. Can and should still improve. B-
Matteo Guendouzi: Solid first few months, good energy, impressive at 19 years old, but has looked tired and out of form in recent weeks. C+
Papa Sokratis: A no-nonsense defender, that we haven't had since the likes of Sol Campbell. Just a shame that he's surrounded by clowns. B/B+
Lucas Torreira: Great attitude, and presence. Finally, a Center Midfielder who likes to get stuck in. Reminds me a little bit of a more aggressive Santi Cazorla. Quickly becoming a fan favorite. And still so young at 22 years old. B+
Stephan Lichtsteiner: Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear....At first he looked like a competent backup to Hector Bellerin, bringing tons of experience and an impressive résumé. He's turned out to be beyond shocking and now competes with Senderos, Silvestre, Santos, Djourou, Cygan, and Igor as our worst ever defenders. I can't even give him a passing grade. F

Emery is a great manager, and he's doing the best he can with a squad that isn't quite yet his own. Have patience, Cheeks.

Have patience, Cheeks. hahaha patience? from beady? the next game arsenal win 3-0, he'll change all those grades to A+. emery loses one game in 23, to the team that will probably win the league, and all of a sudden hes not doing so great. beady's opinions are a joke and should be taken as such...

Fàbregas just joined Monaco. I think we missed a trick here. Sure, Fàbregas is slowing down now at 31 years old, but with Ozil being inconsistent and Ramsey leaving, I think we should have just bought Fàbregas. The guy has always had a great football brain, and his passing is at times as good as Ozil. Fàbregas was/is my favorite ever Arsenal player, having grown up watching him from the age of 15 years old. I understood his reasoning for returning to Barcelona, and I was very upset when we didn’t resign him in 2014, but I think he still could do a job for us in 2019.

West Ham 1-0 Arsenal
Very poor match. A draw would have been a slightly more fair result, but we were so flat. Insipid. We are missing so much creativity.
And with that, chance of finishing in the top 4 is gone. Turning quite quickly into a very poor season.

IF we don’t beat Chelsea next weekend, that will end our top 4 challenge.
And what’s even more embarrassing is that Man Utd have caught up with us - we were 11 pts clear of Man Utd at one point.
We have truly collapsed.

Why does it always have to be our stars who fall out with the manager? Why can’t it ever by ElNeny who has a training ground bust up with Unai Emery?

Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea
Proud of the Arsenal. Well deserved win. Emery got it spot on. Ramsey was the better pick over Ozil for this match - Ramsey worked his socks off. And a great goal by Lacazette. Shame about Hector, though. Well in, Arsenal! London is red.

If Arsene Wenger were still Arsenal manager right now, do you think our season would be better, worse, or the same?
I know we can’t expect miracles from Emery, but so far he’s performing exactly how Arsene would be if still manager.
