Trip Inside is of course the Mustique demo of Be Here Now.
For me, Be Here Now is a cheap man’s Columbia - decent but nothing overly special.
I prefer Trip Inside. Management bungled this but we all have Trip Inside by now.
Trip Inside reminds me of the difference between the Hindu Times albums version vs. THT Demo. Both demos (Hindu Times and Trip Inside) are layered better and just have a deeper sound, more bass, etc.
That being said, Trip Inside does not fit on the album stylistically so Noel got his one right as far as album selection is concerned.

I adore The Hindu Times demo, prefer Liam’s vocal but first time I heard that demo it blew my mind. Still does. Kinda Sigue Sigue Sputnik at the beginning.

I really loved Trip Inside, shame they removed it.

What are you talking about? Trip Inside isn't a demo of Be Here Now, it's simply a weird instrumental that doesn't really go anywhere.

Like the member above pointed out, when the promo boxset mp3 files leaked, the Mustique Demo CD had the actual Trip Inside (Be Here Now) demo. For whatever reason, Ignition swapped it on the final international release with a random unknown instrumental and still named it Trip Inside (Be Here Now). We all were confused and mimmihopps emailed them only to get a response of "It is correctly listed, as it was intended to be." Clear lie there and just more nonsense from that joke of a company. Apparently the actual Trip Inside was replaced due to the drum break of the Rolling Stones' song "Honkey Tonk Women" playing at the beginning of the original demo being copyrighted. So removed at the last minute for some random reason.

Trip Inside - as someone else has posted - is the 'actual' demo of BHN. I really like both versions. The live version from the tour is still the best, but if I'm going between album version and demo, I'd say the album version just edges it for me, but agree that the demo has more detail in it (which is down to the overblown ( lol ) production of BHN)

I know the situation with the demo

This is the reply I got from Ignition fro my inquiry regarding Trip inside demo on 20th October 2016: We have spoken with the management company and they have confirmed that the track listing is correct and is not faulty - this is how it’s intended to be. The track should be 3.35. Therefore, we can assure you that you have received the correct audio. It is an instrumental track called ‘Trip Inside’.
If you are dissatisfied with this product please contact Oasisinet and they will be happy to arrange a refund.
Kind Regards, Ignition TeamThe thing is, that We know that there are some people in US and Japan who got the "wrong" demo on their CD. I bought a deluxe box set, a 3 CD set and a Japanese edition deluxe 3 CD set. I wouldn't have minded if I had one CD with the "wrong" demo, good good people from management. "Gimme gimme gimme the honky tonk blues".

Opposite for me, I think Be Here Now is massively better than Columbia. As for this vote, as much as I love the demo (comes close to being better) I still prefer the finished version

There's not a huge difference between the two of them for me, unlike THT (which I prefer the demo version of musically but I find the lyrics to be pretty awful). When I listen to Trip Inside I just find myself missing the "c'mon" part, even if it is shamelessly nicked from Columbia.
