I may have done a similar thread, but we are doing this thread now.
Which album best epitomizes Oasis? And why?
Be Here Now is my third favorite album, but I play BHN by far the most and I always love understanding why. And for me, BHN now typifies Oasis: the cocaine, the self-indulgence, and the utter madness.
BHN is the Oasis I love the most. Noel, I may not dig yer shoes but I most certainly dig BHN. Biblical.

DM era, end of. That punkish element they had during that time could never be replicated and the core of oasis will always be that for me tbh

Definitely Maybe. A pure rock band, playing gorgeous pop songs with a monumental sound. That's Oasis aesthetic at his finest.

Wot no demos? Tie for me between the dreams and self-mythologising of DM and the reality of those ambitions on (WTS) MG? BHN probably should get a nod too as the self-indulgent peak of the band at the top of their career and excesses.
