Are you going to back that up with anything? All those dire predictions from Al Gore and alarmist scientists have been wrong for decades. Earth itself has a cycle. Earth itself fixes itself. Go back in history and you see like minded climate patterns that are emerging today. It’s nothing new, and it’s not man made. Simples. Also, climategate and the fucking around with date destroys credibility too. Are you for real? What do people like you need to see to actually believe in it? How many others proves do you need? Do you also think human evolution is wrong because you never saw a monkey give birth to a human?

So you don't accept that the planet has warmed quicker in the last 175 years than ever before? Or the simple science that if you fill the atmosphere with gases that trap heat you get warmer? Tbf you can't prove that, humans haven't been accurately recording data anywhere near long enough. But I'm all for ditching fossil fuels, its unsustainable, renewable energy is the necessary future and the sooner we transition to it completely the better. There's a variety of methods that give the scientists a pretty good idea of whats been happening before records started. www.theguardian.com/environment/2012/mar/07/past-climate-temperature-proxies

What are scientific fields like geology, geochemistry, pollinology, paleobotany, dendrochronology, paleontology, sclerochronology, archaeology...

What people need to get their head round is that it isn't the planet we are ultimately hurting, it's ourselves. Whatever we do the earth will recover, even if it takes millions of years, the blink of an eye in geological terms. New species will develop. Without us.

I can understand people debating the extent to which climate change is man made because it always has fluctuated, as you say. Ultimately though does it matter? The climate is changing and if we don't adapt our behaviour we will not survive.

I totally agree that the earth has both warmed and cooled over time but I think there is enough of a change in the rate its happening to make a informed as reasonable assumption that human activity is accelerating this on a unprecedented scale. Nasa say it better. climate.nasa.gov/evidence/
