www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/showbiz-news/liam-gallagher-climate-change-snowman-14033391Liam Gallagher is the voice of an alternative Christmas advert Liam is the voice of a new advert backing The Climate Coalition, warning about the dangers of climate change BY SIMON BINNS 00:01, 14 DEC 2017UPDATED13:52, 13 DEC 2017 Liam Gallagher is a man of surprises - and now he's become the frontman of something fairly different to his rock and roll band past. Liam is the voice of a new advert backing The Climate Coalition, warning about the dangers of climate change. Their #showthelove campaign is designed to raise awareness of the rising temperatures - despite it being cold at this time of year. Liam voices the minute long ad which features an animated snowman slowly melting. "In the grand scheme of things, our earth is too hot," says Liam. "And it's getting hotter. "But we have hope, because we know that we can change things...if everyone does their bit." The Climate Coalition’s ‘Show The Love’ campaign aims to encourage people to take action to protect the things they love from climate change – whether natural beauty spots damaged by increased flooding or sports rained-off in heavier downpours. The Coalition is made up of more than 130 organisations representing over 15 million people, ranging from groups such as the National Trust, RSPB, Women’s Institute and the Woodland Trust, and aid agencies such as CAFOD and Oxfam. Oxfam ambassador and creative lead Rankin said: “It was and is a fantastic project. We were over the moon to have the iconic voice of Liam to give the piece a twist and really get it noticed. “But above and beyond everything it was a privilege to make something for such an important cause. Younger generations are the ones who will have to deal with these issues, so we tried to make something that could communicate to all ages."

Amazing that they got him to enunciate everything properly. He's got a pretty good voice for adverts.

Love how he keeps surprising people and pulling left-field moves like this. He dropped the combativeness about 2% and all of a sudden the mainstream's realizing what a charmer he is when you stop and listen.
Plus, if there's anyone who doesn't need the Earth getting warmer, it's the parka king!

Liam narrates about climate change. Noel writes a song, Beautiful World, about climate change. Coincidence? I think not.
PS, man made climate change is grossly over exaggerated at best, and completely non-existent at worst. Fuck off, Al Gore.

All those dire predictions from Al Gore and alarmist scientists have been wrong for decades. Earth itself has a cycle. Earth itself fixes itself. Go back in history and you see like minded climate patterns that are emerging today. It’s nothing new, and it’s not man made. Simples. Also, climategate and the fucking around with date destroys credibility too.

Or the simple science that if you fill the atmosphere with gases that trap heat you get warmer?

But I'm all for ditching fossil fuels, its unsustainable, renewable energy is the necessary future and the sooner we transition to it completely the better.
