I kinda agree with that, SCYHO power is in its simplicity, as for me Noel should just sing the song as Dead In The Water - nothing but his acoustic guitar only. I don't like Jessica's back vocals. I don't like saxes for this song. It's interesing arrangement but... meh it should be performed like this: it should have a certain roughness, it should be a rock song. noel is making it a song for a shopping mall audience. he did the same with champagne supernova. fucking awful. I highly doubt that today he could do SCYHO as 'rock' but singin' this like in Australian TV show - why not? I always prefer this version rather than Liam's one

It's an awesome reworking of it. if by "awesome reworking" you mean "housewives above the age of 50 will love it", then yes, awesome reworking. Well I love it and I'm no housewife over 50. I figured out the chords from hearing the soundcheck version and just fell in love with this way of playing it. It's ace.

that scyho version is horrible. it's noel gallagher, but it's so far removed from what it once was when it was an oasis song, it's not even funny. It's an awesome reworking of it. I know there's no such thing as a wrong opinion, but... What about that bit where he goes "your destiny may keepyouwarmum"?

This version of SCYHO is my favourite Noel-performed Oasis song in recent years. I never cared much for the song in its original form, but I’ve fallen in love with this.

London date announced June 21st Kenwood House Maybe new music are coming for next year? Crossing fingers From everything Noel said, he was planning to have 2020 'off' to record an album in his new studio (that would probably start early next year). It's weird this has been announced but will likely just mean there'll be a string of festival dates. He'll have 9 'new' songs from the EPs to choose from, remember. I imagine it's just take up a mini tour of festivles etc to pay the bills (building a studio can't be cheap) and allow him to take the rest of the year to record. I would be massively surprised if we got a new album before this time next year at the very earliest. I'd expect early 2021, tbh, but you never know!

Absolutely no shot Noel has an album out next summer. I’d say spring 2021 at the earliest.

I could be way off the mark, but maybe this'll finally be the year he plays Glasto (solo).
Could deffo see him in that support slot before Macca?
