Yeah it depends what venue and country he's playing i guess, but 50 euros for a standing ticket is outrageous imho. I passed on Weezer for that same reason.
At that price, they could give the new album with it, since they just added the price of the record to the ticket price, the music industry have invented the record tax. Shit times.

got my tickets for Amsterdam. in the shithole of venue's... It's not my favourite venue either. I would have loved him to play at a venue like Paradiso, Melkweg or Tivoli for 2 nights, but I think playing only one night at a bigger venue is easy for the promotor and the band.

Heinken experience is fun though, and you get to drink for free at the end, so everyone's running and nobody watches the actual museum I love Amsterdam, it's so quiet and cyclists are kings.

AFAS Live (what a shite name), is not my favourite venue either. Preferred Tivoli inUtrecht (which is also about half of the distance for me ), but at least you can sit, so you can avoid drunk pushing idiots.

I do like scaring the tourist on my bike when they set foot in Amsterdam...and set foot on the bicycle-lane without knowing doing so

I think the UK dates are exactly the same price as last time round give or take a few quid. £50 for floor standing at Manchester. Think I paid £45 for tier 2 seats there on the CY tour. But, after being unable to get Liam tickets, at least I've got these! Straight through on Eventim. Three tickets bought with no issue.

Wow, I think his first solo gig in Denmark cost me more than 50 euros! Then again, it was the fanciest venue in the country...
His first solo gig in Amsterdam was at Melkweg (capacity:1500) and it was sold out within an hour. The ticket was around 27 Euro's. His second gig over here sold out very quick (TivoliVredenburg - capacity:2000). His last gig at Heineken Music Hall didn't sell out (capacity:5500) and I'm afraid that he won't sell out this time either. It didn't sell out, but not by much. It wasn't exactly half empty either.

The ID requirement for the British leg means those shows won't sell out as fast as touts can't resell tickets.

Noel has had multiple platinum selling albums and multiple sold out arena tours. I think he'll be alright.
