Reading the interview in R&F yesterday and liam saying how this album is really personal and more than a compilation of songs got me thinking, it could be seen as a recored of his emotional journey over the past few years.
Track list.
Wall Of Glass. A good upbeat tune, the good times before it all goes wrong but with a warning that the past can come back to bite you.
Bold. Not doing as he is 'told'. And 'lay it on me', knowing the reckoning is coming for his behaviour.
Greedy Soul. Pouring out his anger at those who have exposed him with a 'kiss and tell'.
Paper Crown. Knowing that his world and reputation are crumbling before him.
For What It's Worth. Acknowledging that he was wrong and saying sorry.
When I'm In Need. Hurting from the conceqeunces of his actions and admitting he needs help.
You Better Run. He has had enough of hiding and is coming back to face his critics head on and they better watch out.
I Get By. He's survived the worst and it hasn't destroyed him.
Chinatown. 'God told me to live a life of luxury', it's time to stop punishing himself and enjoy life again.
Come Back To Me. Repairing damaged relationships with loved ones, kids etc.
Universal Gleam. 'I'm older now, I'll show you how'. He has learned lessons from his experience and want to share his wisdom.
I've All I Need. Happy and content with his life at last.

Makes sense. I doubt it was intentional but it kinda fits

putting as many dull songs as possible onto an album is not a great concept.

Seems legit. With the exception that "Bold" is actually called "Bald" and it's about Bonehead leaving Oasis.
