Noel is in Los Angeles. Time to start the single promo tour! Maybe he got a head start to Mexico and is vacationing? That gig is in less than a week. Though....KROQ is also out there.

I will go to the gigs i dont think he play any new stuff probably a little change on the set (would be great the Mexican) but no sign of new stuff in my opinion

I'm really figuring something has gotta happen and soon. This Friday is the perfect date for him. He won't do it next week with Liam's album out and October 13th just seems so far away at the moment.

I've got a bad feeling about tomorrow...too much silence for a sudden single drop. Noel's team likes to announce things in advance. No talk from radio shows about "tune in tomorrow for an exclusive."
I'm not sure we're getting this tomorrow. Sucks.

I'm not sure we're getting this tomorrow. Sucks. but that is the thing. Besides the Gallaghers, most artists just random drop it. I've seen it all summer long with bands like Arcade Fire, The National, LCD Soundsystem, Grizzly Bear, Spoon, War On Drugs, etc. You just release it. Trust me it'll spread fast and wide.

It just makes too much sense. - Hit us with an album teaser, album pre sale on Monday, tour dates - Fan pre sale Wednesday for tour - Hit us with a new single on Friday the same day as the general sale for his world tour

He would want full spotlight.

Tomorrow definitely makes the most sense, but when did Noel ever care about that?

He's going to want to be around to promote it a little bit. He's going to be in South America until late October. So, I don't think the 13th is an option either.
I think it's either tomorrow or the last week of October.

If he waits that long it’ll just be the one single. Which is fine I guess.

If it was tomorrow something definitely would have been announced already by whichever radio station was getting first play. I reckon 2 weeks time.

If we don't get this song tomorrow I'll be pretty disappointed.

I can't remember the last time a Gallagher debuted the first single of an album and wasn't at the radio studio for the debut. If it's not tomorrow, I'd be shocked if it were in two weeks.

If it was tomorrow something definitely would have been announced already by whichever radio station was getting first play. I reckon 2 weeks time. But that's just it. You don't need radio anymore. That is not the biggest delivery medium anymore. There aren't even real rock stations in NYC for example. It's all about the Internet, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, etc. fuck the radio.

Problem is that Noel still cares about radio, and this song is most likely going to be debuted on radio. I'd be surprised if it dropped any other way.

Noel could take some lessons from Liam and Debbie on how to promote a new album in this day and age. They're killing it.

Their biggest promotional moment is the one they didn't plan, Manchester One. Other than that it's been pretty standard.

Noel could take some lessons from Liam and Debbie on how to promote a new album in this day and age. They're killing it. Are they? Please expound on how they are "killing" it. To me this has been an extremely slow burn. So much so that I find myself forgetting that the album hasn't come out yet. I feel as though I've had the album for 3 months already. It's weird.

They nailed Wall of Glass and it's promotion but since then it's been typical Gallagher blunders as far as I'm concerned. FAR too long a wait for the album (we're talking months and months too long) as well as poor choices of singles has added up to a sup-par album release strategy for me. What's brought them this popularity is a mixture of Liam's social media, the release of Wall of Glass, One Love, and Liam's live performances.
Plus, an awful lot of people just love Liam Gallagher.

Noel could take some lessons from Liam and Debbie on how to promote a new album in this day and age. They're killing it. This keeps getting brought up for months now. He’s literally doing all the same things he did with Beady Eye and before that with Oasis. Same as all the other acts out there. Nothing is different. All very standard promotion and that is fine. Sometimes the audience cares and sometimes they don’t. I think people care more because it’s LIAM and not LAG. There is a power in that brand.
