I heard the first single, and it is unmistakenly Noel, but super campy. It almost sounds like something U2 would have made post Pop if they continued on that trajectory.
Starts out with him singing in in a high pitched falsetto saying "soul, give me a soul shiner, love I won't nickel and dime ya" Really funky guitars and four to the floor beat.

I'm willing to believe you because you quote some lyrics, but that's exactly how I expected the first single to sound like. (The description, not necessarily the U2 track).
Bullscheiße.

If the new single is anywhere near as good as Discotheque I'd be extremely happy.
Can't be long now til we hear it.

If true, that lyric is well cringey.

We live in a beautiful world, yes we do If I'm not mistaken, 'Beautiful World' is a title of one of Noel's new songs is it not? I like that title if true - can't believe some think it's an awful label for a song. This is a guy who after all has a song called I Wanna Live A Dream In My Record Machine for christ sake. The title Beautiful World is straightforward and evocative enough. I'm just glad he's kept it simple, and hasn't gone for some pseudo-psychedelic bull crap label like he often does.

P.S. To the OP - how long did it take you to come up with those lyrics?

What A Wonderful World sounds like a terrible title - but it's actually a beautiful song. Like I said, it doesn't sound 'try hard' and is very simple. Anything titled elaborately from Noel is usually really cringy.

As long as his new video will be like Discothèque, I'm happy.

Rolli's been consistently terrible since the early 2000s (at least) but I actually believe him here.

I can confirm this. I was lurking in Rolli's window while he was listening to the album in the tub. Whats with all the Cher memorabilia in the bathroom though?

The only thing this thread proves is that the OP is the shittiest poet of all time.
