Greedy Soul has been one of my favorites so this is great And how good does Liam sound singing and playing guitar. I know he has made it clear that he won't go on stage with a guitar, but he should do a video of the acoustic version in full.

Very disappointing. Where's the loudness? Much prefer the live version. Really hope this is a demo

No way that's a demo, that's what we'll hear on the album. Slightly underwhelming considering the filthyness of the live version but it's only a snippet after all

I actually like how it hasn't got the wall of sound treatment, sounds a lot more dynamic this way, proper happy with it.

Sounds better than Wall Of Glass...sounds so so good.
The very beginning is clearly a demo then it plays the recorded version for the rest

Drums sound good. Guitars too (once again). Definitely liking this one.

Loving it. Was a little disappointed at first that it lacked the thunder of the live version but after a couple listens it has really grown on me. "You're getting told!" and " I've got the Midas Touch" really pack a punch. Liam is sounding fresh. I'd imagine the song gets heavier as it goes along though. Gets a from me!

Echoes of that Show Me Your Love clip when he's playing it on the acoustic.

I like it a lot, sounds good.
It doesn't sound like Meaning Of Soul at all (thank God!), don't know what some of you are on about!

This actually fits in perfectly with what the director of Supersonic was saying about it being Velvet Underground. I like it and I love the live version. I'll take both please.

I absolutely love this, his voice sounds ace. But hearing Liam on the acoustic makes we want to hear more! I hope he'll do some acoustic sessions, his voice comes across so well in such settings.

I can't get my head around that vocal...
When he sings "You're getting TOLD...", it's like I'm listening to one of those old demos from before they recorded Definitely Maybe, where he hadn't worked out how his voice should sound yet. If that's been achieved naturally, without pitching it up or doing whatever else -- and to be fair, his voice does sounds quite sweet when he does it acoustically -- then I'm quite impressed, and more than a little bit surprised, he can still sound like that...
The question is though: do I want that kind of vocal from him returning for a song such as this? Would it not be better suited to one of the quieter numbers? I too was envisioning Greedy Soul sounding really loud and dirty...
I dunno. Let's wait to hear the full thing in good quality.

I know exactly what you mean, its difficult if like me you have been hammering the live version for the last couple of days but then while I hope its more filthy it kink of fits in with other peoples comments.

It sounds good but much prefer the live version. Needs to be angrier and louder surely.

I love the dirty punk live version but I'm also happy to have a cleaner produced version. It's sounds good. good to have a difference rather than just have live sound like the record.

For me it still sounds kinda dirty with the squealing guitars. Different to the live one but still tasty. Seems like a little surprise every few days, holding my interest. Would love to eventually hear those demos as well.

I'll be disappointed if this is the album version. It needs to have the same energy and power as it does live. It's a very good song and it would be criminal to strip it down to this extent.

I think the live version sounds terrible compared to the studio clip. Studio clip actually makes me like the song now

Maybe think about it as a Gas Panic, the first part(which we heard from that snippet) is "calm" and maybe we'll get our wall of guitars in the second part, which would be awesome! and even if it's not the case, liam sounds so hot in this, gonna love the album

I think if he made it like the live version with a wall of sound then it would age badly and become a Beady Eye type song.
With the clean production and that ability to let the bass breathe, you get a much better final product IMO.
