Karl Pilkington: Out of all the places, this is the place that I'm worried about the most... Ricky Gervais: Why? Karl: Just, the way they live. They're different... Ricky: [laughing] What, Chinese people? Karl: They just wreck everything. They make everything weird. That's what I'm worried about. Ricky: To you. To you. / Stephen Merchant: Expand on this. I don't understand what you mean. Karl: Everything. Chicken...why's it orange in Chinatown?! Ricky: [laughs uproariously]

Is this single going to come out on Friday? Because I still haven't read/ seen anything about it..
I've also been thinking, what if it's a song we already know about but has a different title?

So weird that we're hearing a new single in 3 days that's had absolutely no mention anywhere beforehand. I wonder what on earth it's going to sound like.
WAKE UP! GRAB A BRUSH PUT ON A LITTLE MAKEUP
Liam headbanging in the video.

Do you guys remember when If I Had a Gun... was made available? I'm not so sure, but from what I remember it appeared on YouTube without any previously advices.

Given how subtle the Wall of Glass video was, I expect the new vid will feature Liam monkey walking down Gerrard Street appraising the roast ducks on display, choosing a restaurant to swagger into then demolishing some chow mein and sake.

Are we definetely hearing it this week?
I can't see this being any more than a release to keep the momentum going. Dont think it will be a single.

Rolling Stone specifically described it as a single but we'll see soon enough I guess. " "China Town," the second single off As You Were, will arrive June 30th."

They may have the wrong date, perhaps the 30th of July?
We'll soon see but the end of next month would make more sense rather than only 4 weeks or so after Wall of Glass was released. Add the fact they are still taking vinyl preorders for Wall of Glass rather than a new single leads me to believe there's crossed wires somewhere.

Or is it Noel's new single? Haha I'm looking forward to the confused tabloid reviews and articles later in the year.

Or maybe it´s a free song for all who have preordered the album. And so radio stations can play two Liam songs to promote it

Still hoping for For What it's Worth. I don't know, man, big "Oasis-y" ballads with strings...on those types of songs, there's nowhere to hide if your melody's lacking and your lyrics are badly thought through... Still, I'm reassured there'll be nothing to worry about as far as Liam's vocal will go. I'd've been shitting it if Beady Eye announced they were releasing a big sting-laden sentimental slow number as a one-off single or something, after BE, because I thought Liam sounded mostly appalling on that album, but he's (so far) sounding much better now. He elevated Wall of Glass beyond what it ever had any right to be, for me, with his classic snarling delivery of the lyrics in the verses, so hopefully he can do the same for For What It's Worth - even if there are the usual problems with dodgy lyrics and so on.
