I actually thought that was his worst vocal performance of the set. It was average at best, i thought he really struggled with it but like i said, i still have not listened to the song on the higher quality pro shot that now exists. I'd upgrade your speakers if I were you Fucking love the brass on this even though they're a bit quiet. I hope the album version is like this.

It just sounds like a typical good Liam song, shit words and a nice melody that doesn't go anywhere.

Think Liams lyrics come under far too much scrutiny. Lyrics that would be fine for any well known songwriter would get away with, he doesnt.

As I v said before I really like that tune.
But can you imagine "universal gleam" with a little help from Jason pierce (spiritualised)? It could be a psychedelic anthem, a song that could fit in spiritualized classic albums.

This (universal gleam) is definitely one of my favorite of the new songs I've heard so far (live). I think it is the one that has the potential to be one of my favorite ever Gallagher songs if the production is good.
Does anyone think there might be a choir or female vocals at the end? He had that at Glastonbury (but that could have just been a special treat). I would love there to me something like that on the song.
This song could be one of my faves or one of my biggest disappointments if it is not produced well.

If you really like this song so much and you can't wait to hear the proper studio version, I highly recommend the original. It's called "Real Love"and it's been released 22 years ago on The Beatles Anthology vol.2.

This song and live performance strikes me as something that would've fit perfectly into Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and the 2000 tour. It could've replaced Who Feels Love
