Liam learned that lesson though, the first song released from BE was definitely the best choice.
Second Bite of the Apple wasn't that universally loved, but still probably the next best thing.

My mind is blown..... IZ RITE should have been the second single period. It would have been their biggest hit. It's the most Oasis-esque song with a catchy and radio friendly melody. They dropped the ball there BIG Time. Horrific choices Te be honest if it didn't have the word "Shine" it, it should have been the first single. My poor head sometimes...I don't get these decisions. I would have lost my mind in that board room lol...I mean are people that deaf to recognize these things?

I like Bring the Light. At least it is something different than Oasis. Now we all want from Noel that he tries something new. Sometimes I don't understand people on this forum. Bring the light is awful. Noel has tried something different from Oasis with tracks like Alone on the rope, Ballad of the mighty I, While the song remains the same, The right stuff, Riverman, I'd pick you everytime and more.

Well, there are different shades of different (Even though, I'll have to admit it, Bring the Light has some redeemable qualities. It was a shock at the time but there's much, much worse stuff on DGSS) Which is why it's mostly shit. Although, I am in the camp that believes Wigwam is an absolute gem. Wigwam. Now theres a shit song.

IZ RITE should have been the second single period. It would have been their biggest hit. No. It would not have charted higher than #31.

Bring The Light isn't the worst by any means.
Kill For A Dream and Wind Up Dream? Now there's two of the worst songs ever written.

I really like these songs and I really think Beady Eye get way too much hate. And I fear it will be the same with Liam's new album. (Now matter what he will release)

Iz Rite is not a good song.
I'll take Shine A Light over Apple and Iz Rite any day.
Besides, Iz Rite is this>>

I would rather eat my own faeces than listen to BTL ever again. I hope you are one day presented with that choice.

I've said it at least 10 times on here already... If this album doesn't have a Black Keys meets Oasis Sound it has no chance. Has to sound Big and Bold and Rocking. Anyone but Sardy or Sitek. Has to be someone new and fresh. Zero Magic came from those 2. Anyone who thinks Sitek or Sardy is capable of doing something extra ordinary for this album is on the pipe. If and i say iffff I had chose I'd take my chances with Sardy. Sitek is an absolute NO. Sardy is capable of that Phil Spector-ish sound Why does it have to be that? Why does it have to be anything? In a perfect world I would have my own preferences about who produces or plays on it but really as long as Liam has put everything in I don't care what route he takes. You seem like someone who is going to be disappointed whatever he does tbh such is the narrowness of what you want.

I support LG always but I don't lick anyone's Ballsack. No one wants to see him succeed more than me with this album but if it's weak like 95% of Beady Eye or as weak as Noel's first Solo Album I will definitely say it. Sitek does nothing for me. That's ultimately my point... If Liam is looking for commercial success it has to sound a certain way period. It can't be Liam trying to reincarnate the 1960s

I don't want Liam to create an album geared up to be commercially successful, it might happen that way but I wouldn't want him to change anything about his music making for commercial reasons. I just want him to sell enough records and tickets to go and make another record, other than that I only care about the quality of the music whatever style it may be in.

(No matter what he will release) I've bolded the songs I think were good songs, and put in italics the songs I think could have been good with changes. Just my opinion these choices obviously but I don't think that's enough songs to get a good reception, not when you've sung on Live Forever and Champagne Supernova. I think he needs to raise his game on the new album, and I'm hoping he does, but he won't get the respect his legacy deserves if we get the same proportion of good songs. Although shout out to one of my favourite lyrics "It's not the end of the world oh no/It's not even the end of the day" Didn't like the song that much but for some reason loved those lines, don't know who wrote it out of LAG but I really liked it.
