I suggest, all to watch and think. While the loyal Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 users say, they're happy they haven't upgraded. However, they will have to face this sooner or later. The support for Windows 7 ends 2020 and January 10, 2023 for Windows 8.1.
I moved to Apple and Linux personally. It's because Windows spyware, lack of privacy, too many holes to feel safe for my accounts and privacy.
Thinking of shopping, banking and everything else we do daily. Do you know your computer is secure?

I have windows 7 on my pc, and I will never upgrade it unless 11 or whatever fancy name they chose isnt as intrusive as 10 is.

I nearly promise you, you'll be at the crossroads either stay with windows or go to mac or go to linux. Almost 3 years left for support of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 6 years.

spying features of Windows 10 and get your privacy back. www.safer-networking.org/spybot-anti-beacon/Spybot Anti-Beacon is a standalone tool which was designed to block and stop the various tracking (telemetry) issues present in Windows 10.

Today Microsoft officially stated that it won't allow Windows Updates on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 if you have an AMD Ryzen or Intel Kaby Lake or newer CPU. They claim the dropped support is for stability and reliability but I cut through the crap as an ex-Microsoft employee and tell you why they are really doing it. Comes down to Windows 10 market share and spying, plain and simple.
