I like the original one best. I liked the variant with the dog from LDSMD. while on the subject of logos, does anyone know what this is?  Its on the HC single promo cds. Possible album logo that wasnt given the go ahead? |

The one on The Masterplan album is different (and very nice) too. I think I actually prefer the one on SOTSOG the best, but it looked naff on HC.

I like that they changed it at SOTSOG. That cover fits the album perfectly. I also like the variation on Dig Out Your Soul.

By original I'm assuming you are talking about the one that appears on early Oasis releases... there is an even earlier version as seen here...  |

I dont know why they kept changing the logo, the whole point of a logo is like a trademark, the original was recognizable and simplistic, at least that logo can be kept as the golden era of oasis.

Exactly! Whenever I think of Oasis I immediately think of the original (and best logo) that adorned all the Brian Connor covers. After that, everything went downhill - the music, the covers, the logo, the band! |

Yes, that was Noel's vision for Oasis Mk2 initially. He always said the first 3 albums was a set, a chapter that closed as the door bangs shut at the end of BHN. Unfortunately, we didn't realise that the end of that first chapter was as good as it would ever get for Oasis, and what followed was mediocre at best with SOTSOG/HC, to the downright dire with DBTT/DOYS. |

fuck that DBTT logo, its just the original logo with some bad photoshop filters, the second worst logo in my opinion, the HC one takes the crown.
