Any footage from the Boardwalk rehearsals that we haven't seen before?

Any footage from the Boardwalk rehearsals that we haven't seen before? There was a nice touch at the beginning where they cut from Colombia at Knebworth to them rehearsing it three years earlier at the Boardwalk.

Yeah that version of Sad Song was amazing. Couldn't believe it at first, thought it was a soundalike at first.
Other points of note: "But What If" was played! They cut the bits out with Noel singing, but it was on the credits as well, written by Noel Gallagher, licensed by Noel Gallagher and officially published as well.
Live Forever Forum was mentioned in the credits in the "Thanks to" section.
Alternative Champagne Supernova vocal, with video as well.
Monnow Valley version of Cigarettes & Alcohol.
Good chunk of the Boardwalk version of All Around The World, more than what we had before.
More bits might come to mind.

Any footage from the Boardwalk rehearsals that we haven't seen before? It was a better quality and longer, no new songs.

That sounded like the Boardwalk live version from the first gig, rather than a rehearsal room version.

That Live Forever demo was brilliant with Noel on vocals.

A bit of Life In Vain and Take Me live were in there too, as was studio See The Sun, if memory serves correct. Like everyone else, studio Sad Song with Liam vocals came out of nowhere and left me open-mouthed. Just makes you want to get in their vault even more, what other stuff is still hidden...?!

One interesting bit was how everyone said the dynamic of the band changed when Noel rejoined after LA. Basically from that point on he was completely in charge.

That Live Forever demo was brilliant with Noel on vocals. I think that was a soundcheck done in 2005 at a US Radio Station, the name of which escapes me now. But yeah, that really sounded beautiful played out loud. I'd like to know where that instrumental Talk Tonight was from, with the piano.

Doc was good, I'd give it a solid 4/5. Had to lose a star for not showing nearly enough of bonehead's testicles. X

Oh, and Monnow Valley Cigarettes & Alcohol (think that was the tune they showed) sounded like DOG SHIT. Know they always said those sessions were bad but...fuck me.

The audio from King Tuts sounded better than the existing audio than we've heard. I wonder if it was sourced from the Mark Coyle tape.

It was good.. Funny as hell. But for people like us, nothing majorly new apart from Liam singing Sad Song.
The best part for me was the opening. Seeing Columbia from Knebworth was fuckin insane. Soooo needs to be released!

It's a shane that they ruines the live version of Champagne Supernova at Knebworth. And that they didn't mentioned Whatever and Roll with It. I would love to have a director's cut of this film.
Highlights: Live Forever demo Sad Song (Liam vox) Knebworth footage Ferry to Amsterdam story + footage Glasgow 1993 gig footage Oasis watching football in Rockfield studios
Wtf moments: Noel getting spanked in his underwear

Yeah the Live Forever acoustic was from the 2000's definitely.
Enjoyed it, probably a bit too long.
Knebworth footage superb (the fabled Scalextric track in action), and that helicopter footage was great too.
Liam singing Sad Song was a huge surprise. I can see why Noel's on the final version, Liam's chorus wasn't the best!
Best bit of the film for me was that Champagne Supernova vocal footage. Liam phrasing parts of the song differently - really interesting. would LOVE to see more of that.
Earls Court Acquiesce was from the second night, was it not? And Maine Road from the first night. Good to see that used instead of the stuff from There & Then. Nice that they had Don't Look Back in Anger from Dublin too.
Anyone know the gig where Liam complained about his sore throat? Was that Barrowlands in December 94? The excuse Noel made about having to sing more songs sounded like total bullshit too. Enjoyed seeing Liam looking lonely with a tambourine during Wonderwall in Aspen!
Noel, whilst not quite the villain of the piece, doesn't come off that well, I don't think. Although interesting to hear him say a) "I'm a c**t" and b) Whatever Tony McCarroll tells you is probably true.
VERY interesting that The Real People aren't mentioned AT ALL. Whether that was due to time constraints, or legal wranglings, we don't know.
Q + A I enjoyed, although the crowd seemed awful, just yelling out etc... that "name my baby Liam" question got groans around our screening!
Anyway, in conclusion, very enjoyable. Good band, weren't they?
