Okay would anyone know how to put a software on to a cd-r or DVD-R?
for example if i wanted to put audacity or a photo software on to a disc, how would i do it.
Someone told me I might be able to use imgburn to do it. Also would i have to go into local c folder or the desktop icon?

For Audacity, you'll need an ISO to burn onto the disc. www.theopendisc.com/ Apparently this site contains dozens of free open source software programs that have been pre-packaged as ISO files. Also you'll need a ISO image burning software - I recommend PowerISO.

why would you need to make an ISO? ISO's are disc images and it sounds like hes trying to copy it from the hdd? if youre using windows xp or later you can just drag&drop the relevant folder located in c: onto a blank disc. or am i missing something?
