Noel said on Matt's podcast he's done a track with a grime artist during lockdown (for his record, not Noel's), think it might be Dizzee cos he hinted at it a while back 1 hour, 14 minutes in. His new album’s out in just a few days right? Shame that it looks like this collab was too late to make it. X

Is this Noel's best solo song? I think so Nah it's good (one of the very few I like from WBTM) but for me his best is by far While the Song Remains the Same...

I still want him to do The Man Who Built The Moon into What A Life live someday.
The last bit of the song with just Noel strumming his acoustic, “you and I, spider and the fly, will meet where the shadows fall...”, as the last notes ring out, red light comes over the stage, the drone at the beginning of WAL fades in, Noel sings “what a liiiiiiiife.... what a liiiiiiiiife”... 2, 3, 4, drums, piano, liftoff.
Would make a hell of a last two songs of the main set.

I gave Crashing Yesterday another listen last night and it still sounds great. It's the Noel album which I tend to go back to the most.

One of my favourite HFB tracks, such a chill vibe and a nice bassline

Wandering Star's got such lovely lyrics Think it’s gonna be a Xmas staple in my house. Really loved this one and Dream is All I Need. Whereas Blue Moon Rising is probably my least favourite thing Noel has ever done!

Whereas Blue Moon Rising is probably my least favourite thing Noel has ever done! BMR is actually still my favourite from the EPs, absolutely love it A Dream is a close secondo tho, and I really like Wandering Star although I prefer the Jools Holland version, there's an intensity the studio track is missing Still after all these months the only song out of the nine I can't quite grasp is Black Star Dancing, it sounds good but there's just not enough going on there

Fort Knox still gives me shivers sometimes. What a fantastic piece of music, those vocals at 1:45 are madness. If only the bloody clock didn’t give me tinnitus. X

9 years since the self titled debut today... Yeah I read that on Stop Crying Your Heart Out. I don't really go back to that album as it's not my favourite by him. But nine years already is crazy.

Been rewatching this to oblivion. I know it's my own upload, but I've spent numerous hours editing the audio, and seeing it on YouTube without any restrictions is mind blowing to me. I chopped up so much of the dialogue just to get The Lightning Seeds' "Three Lions" and a lot more tracks out of there, but it was sort of confusing how Noel's "If Love Is the Law", WAL, and "Black Star Dancing" are allowed to stay in. I got lucky I guess, and it's probably a matter of time before Ignition puts Claim ID's on all three of Noel's tracks.
