Nice to see RIDE are supporting NGHFB this year. Funny to think that every single member of an Oasis line up will be playing on the same night except Liam. Noel Gallagher Gem Archer Chris Sharrock Andy Bell Plus maybe Mike Rowe Wonder what happened to keyboard Jesus...

Wonder what happened to keyboard Jesus... He's on tour with Kula Shaker now! Yeh saw him in Cardiff, much better suited to a band like KS. He was on fire!

Failing to mention he had all of that band himself and let them go. High Flying Birds are Beady Lite.

I reckon they're over it. Some of the kids are back to following each other on instagram i.e. Gene and Anais.

And, Liam has said before on Twitter that he keeps in touch with Andy Bell or something like that.

That probably suggests there is more and more reconciliation between them all now. I do think Liam and Noel will start talking this year.

That's good to know, it's a shame Gene had a spat with her a few years back but yeah hopefully this means that there's a reconciliation on the cards with the wider family members

Listened to SOTSOG twice in the past few weeks. I don't know why but I really like playing this album in the winter. And after listening to it again it might be their most Beatles-esque album... The second half of Roll it Over is so Beatles-sounding.

The second half of Roll it Over is so Beatles-sounding. Probably because the guitar solo is pretty much the same as come together? 😉 Always thought Who Feels Love? Was very close to sounding like what the Beatles were doing when experimenting. All the backwards guitars and general vibe

More importantly on 19 February 1996 Oasis won many trophies at the Brit Awards (which Noel probably used for doorstops around Supernova Heights) and they all gave several legendary acceptance speeches.
Jarvis Cocker was, of course, the biggest hero of that night though.

Jarvis Cocker was, of course, the biggest hero of that night though. I only recently learned it was Bob Mortimer (with a few drinks on board) who represented Jarvis in the dressing room and spoke with the police. Apparently he trained as a barrister or something. I can’t remember what show it was I saw it on…

Jarvis Cocker's stage invasion against that shite Jackson was peddling has to be one of music's greatest moments of all time.
