mixed feelings on hidden STC. like the idea, but I'd rather have it on the record
went for that tracklist pretty easy to 10 songs, and I had to keep Soldier On there. perfect closer for DOYS. still a fan of this album.

I haven't watched the Time Flies dvd in a very long time. Infact I haven't listened to the I Tunes concert cd in ages either. Mind you, that concert was never one of my favourites anyway. The CD itself isn’t a great representation of the gig. It was fucking amazing listening to it live on the radio! I personally don't think that the I Tunes gig is one of their best though. It may have sounded good on the radio but I don't know why it was released with the Time Flies boxed set when there was other better gigs which they could have released instead.

I'd love it if Noel finished his rethink for the whole of Be Here Now for its 25th anniversary next year. I'm not holding my breath though.

Well that would be great but I would be surprised if he does. I think that we'll probably get a 25th anniversary release of the album but it'll probably be just the same as we had with the Definitely Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory? ones.

What's the best live performance of Go Let it Out? Been feeling that tune lately.

I love the Jools Holland Oasis special from 2000 but I haven't watched it for a while. It's a shame that Live Forever was cut from the programme though.

I actually like all of the live performances of Go Let It Out but yeah some are better than others. I've always liked the ones from the Finsbury Park gigs.

Lord Don't Slow Me Down, the tour documentary (not the song), isn't very good is it?
It's rarely ever discussed here and I can't remember it ever being discussed on this forum. I can't remember a thing from Lord Don't Slow Me Down, aside from Noel and Liam having a bit of a tiff, Girls Aloud meeting the band, Liam doing a spot of dancing and those bellends from Kasabian trying to get in on the act. So so dull.

Went into a hardware store, saw the deluxe Be Here Now boxset and just couldn't resist, even though it was really expensive. I'm spending so much money right now on music and it just cannot be justified but whatever.

From today, Oasis have had three albums spend 400 weeks each on the UK Albums Chart.
Currently, no other artist has even reached 300 weeks with three different albums. Nor has anyone else ever racked up 400 weeks with two albums. And they’ve had three.
Pretty damn impressive.

The Lord Don't Slow Me Down documentary is ok but I can't understand why it was filmed in black and white either. It seems a bit daft to me. I haven't watched it in a very long time though.

Just watched it the other day. It's a bit pointless, nothing really happens an all. But I like the film as it shows everyone was getting along, the spirit was very good. I remember watching it for the first time and thinking they could go on for many years....

Was it a Stones film Baile Walsh was trying to mimic? That was the story behind the Let There Be Love black and white slow mo and I guess they kept the black and white for the rest of the movie.

Re-watching this interview - it’s absolutely excellent.
Finally, an American interviewer who understands, asking great questions. He shows Noel the respect he deserves.
And Noel is at his amusing, hilarious, insightful, witty, and cynical best. Excellent chatty, relaxed, informal interview. Love this man.
