Little By Little is great and I've always loved it. It's just a pity that it was released as a double A.side with She Is Love as it should have just been released as a normal single and with two b.sides instead as She Is Love isn't even single material. I don't even really dislike She Is Love like the way others do on here, but what was he thinking releasing a double A side of two songs without Liam? It just seems very odd to me. And I like Noel's singing it just seemed like a weird decision to make. I know it was a very odd and strange decision to release a double A side single without Liam . But knowing Noel he probably thought that it was a good idea at the time.

I was watching the video of Noel Gallagher live playing Shout It Out Loud in 2013 at the Royal Albert Hall, the video that has 56,000 views, and watching Mike Rowe in the video bop up and down in a way reminiscent of the Whole Lotta Love tease from Barrowlands 2001 made me think the following:
Mike Rowe was to Oasis what Billy Preston was to the Beatles during the Let It Be sessions, except on a much bigger level due to the many more years of contributions from Rowe.

I love Shout It Out Loud and always have. It's certainly one of Oasis's best b.sides from the 2000's. But I don't think that it would have fitted on Heathen Chemistry with Noel already on lead vocals on two tracks.

So much better than Shakermaker D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman sounds so timeless it's great. I agree with you and it's a shame that D' Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman was wasted on a b.side. Liam smashed it in 2018

Shout it Out Loud reminds me of "Weeping Willow" by The Verve. I wonder if it served as an inspiration?

Oasis thought: Unless I'm misremembering, Noel said circa 1994 that he would never use the word "baby" in a song because he thought it was cheesy/cliche. However, "baby" does indeed appear a few times in "Slide Away". Any reason for this? lol, just wondering!

It does seem odd if it's true though because like you say Slide Away mentions baby a few times. But on the other hand we all know what Noel is like, he says one thing and then does the opposite.

I believe the ‘Baby’ comment was from the Definitely Maybe 10 year documentary and he mentions that Liam thought that Live Forever should have started with it instead of ‘Maybe’. Noel then says he’d never write a song with Baby in it; another case of Noel’s selective memory

But I don't think that it would have fitted on Heathen Chemistry with Noel already on lead vocals on two tracks. I've always liked the ending part where you hear Noel singing with his own overdubbed harmonies that are pretty high. Those high notes just sound great to me as well as the keyboard (possibly mellotron?) part at the end of the chorus after the singing in the chorus ends. It just sounds very Oasis-like to me. Very on brand for them in a good way.

Anyway, Shout It Out Loud is great and it should have been on Heathen Chemistry instead of She Is Love.

And, you're right it is another case of Noel's selective memory.

Oasis Thought: (I Got) The Fever may be the most underrated song from the "golden era" of b-sides from the band. Such a rocker! Definitely in my Top 10 B-sides from the band.

“If I were 16 in 1958 and living in Liverpool, I probably would have ended up in the Beatles at some point. If I was a teenager around the time when they first heard ‘Outbreak’ or ‘Turn on the Radio’ I would have been inspired, and bought a guitar and would have gone on to form a group and probably would have been in The Who, or the Stones, or something like that. I believe that. I don’t believe that any song written in the 60s is of any greater value than any of the songs that have been written by people like myself or U2 or the Radioheads of this world and stuff like that because it’s just that they got to all the good chords first. I reckon I would have been George Harrison.”
~ Noel Gallagher, 1997

Noel: Granted, some of the stuff on Amnesiac is brilliant. The Bends is the bollocks. Karma Police is mega. But they don’t want people to like their music so they can go fuck themselves. www.greenplastic.com/2002/05/08/liam-and-noel/

It's 12 years ago today since Oasis released their final single Falling Down. I've always loved the song and it's certainly one of the best songs on Dig Out Your Soul. However that means that Those Swollen Hand Blues is also now 12 years old today.

They who don’t say what they mean, will live and die by their own sword.
What a lyric.
Magic Pie has a lot of quality embedded within the disorganized mess of a studio recording.

Although Falling Down is a great song the video Oasis did for it certainly isn't. Infact it's probably one of their worst and it's certainly not one which I go back to. Infact I can't think of a worse Oasis singles video than that one.
