One of the coolest ways to promote an album, its funnier they used The Turning and High Horse Lady which Oasis themselves never did live at gigs.

I bought DOYS today for some reason. It was the only missing one on my collection and when i went to the shopping mall to buy another album for my dad because it´s father´s day, i saw it there and decided to buy it. Only Oasis album on sale there.

I think the man who wrote the songs can do whatever he wants. Did you know Noel wrote the songs? You may never have heard him say that but Noel wrote the songs. All of them, his songs. You may not have heard. But it was Noel. I would actually want to hear a remastered version of Take Me, so I guess Bonehead is in charge of that one |

^ Liam sounds so open and unabashedly in love there haha, great song. Favourite part is when he goes "oh, let me be the one who shines with you..." in the second sing through of the chorus.
It seems like he started singing it "so, let me be the one..." at some point in late '94.

If Noel decides to release an new Oasis compilation or live recording, what would you like it to be? I think a new compilation of existing material (i.e. The Masterplan part 2) is unlikely as all the officially released stuff is available on iTunes/Spotify/etc these days. Unreleased stuff - like Liam singing Sad Song & LDSMD - would be cool. It doesn't seem like there's any plan to do remastered box sets of the other albums, so maybe a compilation of unheard tracks & rarities from 2000-2009? For live recordings, Knebworth would be my first choice. Other than that, I'd prefer to hear more stuff from the post-2000 lineup. They were far better as a live band imo. |
