Definitely Maybe Chasing Yesterday As You Were Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Dig Out Your Soul Standing on the Shoulder of Giants Don't Believe the Truth BE Heathen Chemistry Different Gear, Still Speeding With luck, Who Built the Moon will make it into the top tier, or at least the top of the second one. We'll see. I have DM top. Though I used to reserve that place for MG. I still have HUGE hope for WBTM. Holy Mountain hasn’t struck a chord with me but within an experimental album I could easily imagine it being that Sgt Pepper type single, slightly abrasive track. I genuinely still have real hope for WBTM. |

Not to be self-indulgent but it’d not surprise me if my Holy Mountain/Pepper comparison turned out to be bang on. Slightly abrasive, poppy, rock’n’roll, first single from an otherwise experimental album. If the bombast about the album reaching off into places previously unexplored by Noel is true HM could well be Noel’s SP. I hope so. We’ve seen Liam across the line, now am hoping Noel - Mr Grumpy - will smash it. |
